Divergent or Dauntless

Chapter 1

I tiredly open my eyes,as I realise what day it is today,the aptitude test.I couldn't help but to roll my eyes and think that I couldn't wait for this whole test and choosing ceremony to be done with.Unlike other people who were either nervous or confident,I couldn't care less honestly.

I groggily got ready for the aptitude test,and went downstairs to find my older brother,James,who choose to stay in Candor for his choosing ceremony,and my younger sister,Maya,who is too young to take her test yet.As soon as James saw me,he ran over and brought me in for a bear hug and said " my little sister has her aptitude test today" the he began to over dramatically cry and said "they group up so fast!".I only roll my eyes and untangled myself from his arms and hit him across the head "owwww!",I could only watch as my older brother began pouting and Maya began to laugh at us as usual.

After a chaotic breakfast,which included a food fight between me and James and would usually end with Maya separating and scolding us as usual,I met up with my friends.Liam,an erudite born,Emma,who is from abnegation,and me and Jack,who are both from candor.I know that it's rare to have friends from other factions,but we have been friends ever since we were 7,when I found Liam being g bullied by some dauntless
Borns  and couldn't help but I step in although that didn't do much as we both got beat up until my childhood best friend Jack stepped in and beat them up for us,and then we found Emma along the way,as she was with Liam as a couple,and the rest is history.

Me,Liam,Emma,and Jack had met up and decided to walk to the aptitude test together,while I told them my interesting breakfast I had this morning,and by the time we arrived my friends were  doubled over and laughing when I just finished telling them g about how Maya had threatened to put my and James in a time out on the stairs if we refused to stop throwing our breakfast at each other.As we arrived for our aptitude test,we wished each other luck before getting in our factions lines.

Before too long it was my turn to take the test and when I entered the room,I couldn't help but to notice the mirrors that surrounded the room and a chair that seemed eerily similar to a torture chair,and warily approached it,I didn't even notice that someone was in the room until  heard a woman's laugh and I snapped my head up to find a woman with black hair and highlights, in all black clothes,so she's obviously from dauntless,but seemed friendly enough.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I hear her say " The chair isn't gong to bite you" and I couldn't help but to smile awkwardly at her and mumble a "That's not what I'm worried about" she just shook her head and quietly chuckled."My names Tori" she introduced herself and after introducing myself she got the test ready and gave me this clear liquid,which I reluctantly drank and before I could ask any questions I was already knocked out.

When I opened my eyes I noticed that my surroundings were the same but there was Tori wasn't there or anything else,it just an empty space.I couldn't help but wonder what the hell is this,however I was cut off by the sound of a loud growling filling up the silence of the room.I slowly turned around to find a wild dog growling angrily at me and with nothing else to do I just put a hand out shakily and said slowly " That's a good dog" and I couldn't help but to quietly plead the dog"Please don't bite my hand."

However,I began to warily back away as the rabid dog began to stalk toward me with a glare in its eyes,I then unsurely said "good dog?".But that was the final straw before the dog began to run at me on all fours and I instantly began to run at full sprint while  I couldn't helpbut to shout "Bad dog!" "Bad dog!" And I couldn't but to sigh in relief as I saw two bowls with meat and a knife and without hesitation I grabbed the knife and turned around to face the dog,but it was gone.

A second later,I heard a high pitch scream that had me Turing around instantly and saw a little girl being chased by that same dog and without any hesitation I ran forward and tackled the dog but somehow I fell into the floor and woke up again but a bus stop and saw a man asking about a person that seemed familiar to me,however when he asked me "do you know who this man is m?" I looked at it and then back at him and replied confidently "I have no idea who that is" but the man just shouted "Liar!"
