Chapter 5

As the ride ends I let out a breathe I was holding in for a long time. I look over to Harry and he's already staring and laughing at me. Great

"Are you okay?" Harry said to me

"No, that was probably the worst ride I have ever been on. How did u enjoy that?"

He just laughs and smirks

Everyone walks down the stairs and just before we could land Emma reaches for Harry's hand. I cringe

"Are u guys hungry? Should we get something to eat" Liz asks.

"Not really" we all say

"Okay well I'm going to get some popcorn, I'll be right back" and Liz walks away.

"I have to use the bathroom honey, I'll be right back. Don't go no where." Emma smiles and kisses Harry on the cheek.

So I'm left alone with Harry.

"So are you enjoying senior year" he breaks the silence.

"yeah so far, are you" I ask

"Let's play this game over here" Harry says and I follow behind.

He pays for the game and I say my thanks. He picked out the darts hitting the balloon game. At least that's what I call it.

He gives me the dart to shoot and of course I miss. He throws his head back laughing and smiling as I do the same.

"Ugh I suck at this game" I yell

"No you don't, try again. That was the first try" Harry says handing me the dart.

I shake my head and throw the dart. And I miss....again. And I turn my head to see him smiling like a idiot. But it's cute. So I smile like a idiot too.

"See" I claim

"Here let me help you out" he grabs the third dart and places in my hand but to only put his hand on top of mine and he helps me throw the dart to hit a balloon. I feel my stomach drop.

"Of course you got it" I say

"Ha ha" he teases

Right after he teases me Emma and Liz walk up.

"Are u guys ready to leave? It's already 10 and we have school tomorrow?" I say

"Sure" they all say

we walk back to the car and jump in.

Are way back to Liz's is quiet with low music playing.

we drop Liz and Emma off and Liz's house for Liz to run to say thanks and run inside and for Emma to come around to the door to kiss him goodbye.

I get out of the car and jump in the front seat so we could ride home together.

we pull up in my drive way and run up the sidewalk and to the door. I shout Thanks and I try to open the door but I forgot my key and I remember that my mom left for a business trip and won't be home.

"I'm locked out. I forgot my key and my mom's on a business trip. I can't get in"

He throws his head back laughing. And I could see his dimples and smile from where I stand. "Get in the car" he yells too me

I shake my head and run back to the car and open the door and jump in.

"you could sleep and my place, I don't know if u remember but my parents are in California tonight seeing my aunt." He says

"Oh yeah, I hope this won't make it awkward between us or with Emma."I say

"It won't, I promise. we are just friends anyway and Emma knows that" he says and it's hurts

"yeah true" I try and hid my sadness and tears of the last words that's came out of his mouth.

He drives up to his driveway and gets out of his car and runs over to my door to open it.
"Thank you"
"no problem"
we walk up to the door and walk in.

"where should or can I sleep?" I say.

"well, you could sleep on the couch. I'll get you a pillow and blanket" he says walking up stairs.

"Okay thank you" I yell back since he's up stairs.

He comes back down the stars with 2 blankets and a pillow. And he walks over to the couch and sets it up.

"you don't have to do that, I could have" I say the nicest way possible.

"No it's fine" he says back

"well thanks again for seems like the 20th time tonight" I say laughing.

"No problem, seems like I said that 20 times tonight." He says and we both start laughing.

I get under the covers and say goodnight. He says goodnight back and walks up stairs.

I'm woken up by screams in the house and I hear it from up stairs. I run upstairs too find Harry screaming
