A/N: Update yay! :)

Celestia's P.O.V.

Celestia's eyes strained to read the spines of the books on the top shelf. She reached on her tip toes to reach for the worn down spine that stuck out at her. She just barely reached, fingertips feeling the cover. The book made it forward and before she can properly grab it, it fell and plopped right down on her head. The book fell to the ground with a thud, a silent stream of curse words escaping her lips as she reached down for the book. Celestia smoothed her shirt over as she looked around to make sure no one saw her tiny accident. Her eyes ghosted over the words that were etched into the cover. Music theory. Her thumb gently ran over the torn up cover, she felt slightly bad for how mistreated the book looked, but brushed it off and continued down the aisles of shelves that held countless books worth of knowledge. She had sneaked out from her break at the diner and resorted at the local library to find some books to aid in her learning.

Learning something by yourself can't be that hard,  she thought to herself as she made her way to check out the books she collected. Celestia was just about to step in line when she so happened to bump into someone.

Dear god I have to stop doing that, she internally groaned as she spoke up to apologize but when she looked up she felt her mouth go slack. It had been two weeks since she her last run in with the raven haired lad from the diner, and she was hoping that she would never see him again. But, there he was standing right in front of Celestia with an expression that mirrored hers and messy hair that made Celestia wanna reach out and run her fingers through. She was about to cringe at herself for thinking that when he spoke up, shaken out of his daze.

"S-sorry," He chuckled as he awkwardly scratched his neck. Celestia quickly caught the tattoos that ran down his arm in an intricate design.

"I-uh-it's okay. W-we always tend to bump into each other." She awkwardly spoke as she looked everywhere but him.

"Y-yeah. Your the waitress from the diner, Celestia right?" He quickly spat out and Celestia felt her face drain of color. How did he find out her name? He seemed to have notice the panic settle in Celestia's face as he pointed to the name tag that was on her uniform. She glanced down quickly and let out a tiny breath.

Your an idiot, she yelled to herself.

"You must be..." She painfully added. All Celestia wanted to do was shrivel up and die from awkwardness and embarrassment.

"U-uh my name's Zayn." He rocked back and forth on his heels, she could see his hands tighten around his hold on his book. They both stood there for a few awkward but quiet moments before Zayn spoke up, his golden eyes meeting Celestia's grey ones.

"So...your here at the library for books." She chuckled at his obvious words and nodded. The corner of his lips began to turn up into a smile Celestia wanted to see. "I was uh actually gonna check this out and head home, b-but you probably didn't care where I was going afterwards and yeah and I-I'm sorry I keep rambling." She kept going on but zipped her mouth shut when he chuckled, it was airy and rang in her ears in a good way.

"Oh well I could check those out for you, I uh work here." He explained and that was when Celestia noticed the name tag that hung to his shirt and read his name. She opened her mouth to speak and kindly decline, but the way his eyes were intently on her she couldn't resist so she simply nodded her head. Zayn led her to the front counter where he not so gracefully attempted to jump over the counter to reach the other side. Celestia held back a laugh as he quickly composed himself, his cheeks burning crimson. Celestia handed him the book and he scanned it, his brows furrowing in what seemed to be curiosity.
