I always look forward to our family's dinner at the seaside because it is where we would bond again after a long time of not seeing each other.
Pinagmasdan ko ang suot ko sa harap ng salamin. Sinuot ko lamang ang baby blue kong above the knee na ruffled puff dress at bumagay naman ang puti kong wedge sling back na slippers.
I don't know much about the make up so I just put some powder and lip gloss.
Mula sa aking makapal na kilay,pababa sa aking foxy at mapungay na mata, and to my very spanish pointed nose, down to my puffy red lips.
I tried to tie up my spiral curly hair in half but it's to volumed that's why I let it down to my waist.
Sometimes I get a lot of compliments because of how curly my hair is but sometimes I can't help but to feel insecure of how straight their hair is. I always feel like I'm very different from them,
"Aurora~" I heard Lilo's voice outside our room, she almost sang my name.
"I'm here, Lilo!"
Nananabik siyang pumasok habang winawagayway sa ere ang isang piraso ng papel. Automatikong nangunot ang noo ko dahil mukhang interesado ang nakasulat doon.
"Ano 'yan letter?" tanong ko at sinubukang kunin sa kanya ang papel ngunit iniiwas niya ito.
"No!" taas noo niyang sabi.
So, what is it?
"This is a bucket list!" tumili siya at naglulundag.
"A bucket list?"
"Yep! I realized that it will be too boring to stay here at the beach house. And since we're dalaga na, I think of the fun activities that we can do!"
I'm dalaga na?
"And guess what? Our Kuyas agreed to join our bucket list!" mas lalong lumakas ang tili niya at mas lalo din tumaas ang lundag niya.
"They did!?"
Our Kuyas always have their own thing, kaya nakakagulat ang sumali sila sa kung ano mang trip ni Lilo sa buhay.
"Okay, so here's the first in our bucket list, go bonfire at the beach house and build a tent and sleep there overnight. Isn't it exciting!?" niyugyog niya ako.
"Yah? But isn't it dangerous to sleep outside?" pagaalala ko.
"You think papayagan tayo if it's too dangerous to sleep outside?" she said full of sarcasm.
"Hayy, okay, fine!"
Hindi rin nagtagal ay tinawag na kami nila Lola upang bumaba.
Okay, just to give you a little back story about my family. Tatlo lamang na magkakapatid sila Papa, and it's funny cuz they're also two boys and one girl. It's Daddy, Tito Vin, and Tita Melinda. Tito Vin's children are also two boys and one girl which is Lilo. Tita Melinda is happily married for about ten years now, but she still hasn't have kids.
"Wow you two are so cute!" iyon kaagad ni Tita Melinda sa amin ni Lilo.
Lilo and I are very different, she's always the impulsive one, the stubborn and she's more extroverted than I. When it comes to appearance she has this beautiful straight silk hair and and much more lighter skin tone than I. Her eyes are rounded, beautiful like a barbie doll.
"Oh! You two are growing..." she said with full of admiration on her eyes.
"I hope and pray you'll have your child na that looks like us!" anang Lilo.
