Chaeryeong POV

The alarm clock buzzed in my ear as I hushed it. I get up slowly and reluctantly, wondering the reason I have to even get up. I get out of bed and put on my school uniform after showering, then go downstairs to collect my things. I glance at my kitchen, the place in my 4 roomed apartment I go to the least. It looks practically abandoned at this point. The light in it is never on since I never need to see in it. I ate yesterday, there's no need to go inside it today. I leave my apartment and go down the stairs to my car. My phone rings before I start it.

"Ryeongchae?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you come stay here tonight?"

"Why Unnie?"

"I miss you, and I want to make sure you're doing okay."

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"You barely eat or sleep since... you know."

"Relaxe, Chaeyeon Unnie, I've been getting better." I lied.

"Can you still come, please?"

"Fine, okay," I chuckled.

"Good! See you, Ryeong!!"

She hung up. I can't let Chaeyeon Unnie worry about me. She already has enough on her plate. She worries too much anyway. It's just easier if she thinks I'm okay. I drive myself to my college and go to class. Life is like this, every day. It's always the same. Sometimes, I wonder the reason I should continue.

Yeji POV

When I woke up, I felt refreshed. I'd had a good sleep. But today, I'm taking my first dance lessons at the Manoban Dance Center, and I need to get up and get ready. I'm really excited, but also scared. I've never taken dance lessons before, what if they're all better than me? But I know I will do great, or else the teacher wouldn't have picked me to join.

I slip on a sports bra and leggings and go for a quick run to the pizzeria down the street from me to get lunch. The classes are at 4 because that's when the colleges get off and most of them go to college, so I still have a long time until it's dance class.

Third Person POV

The bell rang finally, and Chaeryeong was off. She went outside to her car and drove to the dance studio, going to the lockers to change. Yeji came to the studio soon later, and some girls showed her around. They took her to the locker rooms, and she and Chaeryeong made eye contact.

As soon as Yeji saw Chaeryeong, she thought she was beautiful. Her hair was tied into a messy bun behind her head, and her cargo pants and tank top complimented her body really well.

Chaeryeong also thought Yeji was pretty. She was excited to get to know the girl.

"Girls! Come in here for warm-up!"

Dance class went like normal. They continued learning their routine, and the teacher told Yeji to watch. Then she had her introduce herself to the team since they're all really close.

"Hello, I'm Hwang Yeji, I'm 20, and I really want to dance. Nice to meet you!" She said. They could all tell she was really outgoing and cheerful, which is good for a dance team with that energy needed.

"Chaeryeong, why don't you stay a little late and catch up Yeji on what we learned for the combination before she joined us?" The teachers said, and Chaeryeong nodded. Class was dismissed, and after cooling down, the girls headed out, leaving Yeji and Chaeryeong alone.

"Hi, I'm Lee Chaeryeong," she said, bowing.

"I'm Hwang Yeji, nice to meet you," She told the nervous girl. She wanted to say something else, ask about the dance program or about Chaeryeong herself, but the younger quickly started the music.

"Okay, so it goes, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8," she said, showing her the steps. They did it together, and Yeji did it perfectly.

"Wow, you're so good at this for your first day!" Chaeryeong exclaimed and smiled.

"Your smile is pretty. Has anyone ever told you that?" Yeji said. The younger blushed and shook her head.
