Chapter One: Hey Soulsister is a good start

~2010~

I am feeling very nervous at the moment. Harry is auditioning, and I'm up next. 

He is my twin brother. Harry and I have been inseparable since birth, we learned to walk at the same time and even sang together in our band White Eskimo. 

Our grandpa always said we had a gift for singing, and we've been taking classes ever since. Music means everything to us. 

 Harry is currently performing "Hey Soul Sister," and he sounds great despite his nerves. When he finishes, Simon Cowell calls my name, and it's my turn to perform.

-What's your name?- Simon asks me.

-My name is Emma Styles- I say with a very nervous smile.

-Oh, so the boy who sang before is your brother?- he asks again very interested.

-yeah, we are twins- I responded while he annotated something in his notebook.

-oh, and why are you both here?

-Well everyone we know has told us our whole life that we sing very good- I responded again, very confused about his questions.

-What are you going to sing Emma?

-Back to black by Amy Winehouse.

-okay Emma, let's see what you can do.

I was singing, but I was really nervous, so I didn't do as well as I could have. Even though I wasn't at my best, I still think it was good.

-okay, good- Simon interrupted me in the first chorus- I think you're very young, but your vocal range is very good and with practice and effort it can be amazing. For me is a yes.

- thank you so much! This means a lot to me!- I can't believe he just said that.

The next ones to talk to were Nicole and Louis. Nicole said yes, and Louis said no, but I still passed the casting! And Harry is going to do this with me!

 I went backstage and all our family was there, celebrating with Harry and me. I don't know what's going to happen in the future, but I'm so excited to find out.
