He's literally me guys I'm him he's me we are one!!!!!
anyway the art is by @glass5andwich on TikTok u should like follow them plz they r rlly cool n make cool art :3anyway this is what I think would happen if Nick lived past the fence
He'd be in some form of panic/irritation of not being able to make Sarah snap back into reality or move especially after the whole herd thing and being shot in the shoulder causing him pain. (he wouldn't yell at her btw don't even😞)
If you save Sarah he'd probably react like any other character and be neutral.
but if you left her he'd probably get mad at Clem and Jane for just leaving her like that in the trailer, having some false hope in his head she could have been saved despite the small amount of time they had.I forget what happens after that 🧍♂️
anyway he's sad cause Rebecca and Sarah died (if u saved her), angry cause of the failed robbery by Arvo, and then the frozen lake (the part I wanted to write about!!!)
In the game, Bonnie and Clem are the ones helping Luke, but if Nick were still alive he'd try to as well. If the player doesn't make a decision, Nick runs ahead of them and attempts to get Luke himself, causing the inevitable ice break and sending them both under. It continues to play on like what happens if Bonnie goes to save Luke - Break the ice and have Nick alive or Not break the ice and leave Nick not to resurface.
After losing everyone he was previously in the group with, he falls back into the stages he did after Pete's death, upset and pushing everyone away, keeping to himself. It throws him back into the "Is there any point to keep surviving?" mindset, understandably. He blames himself for Luke's death, not being able to save his best friend, and basically watching him drown.
Unable to drink his sorrows away or willingly let someone comfort him without lashing out, it ends up too much for him, and he turns to the Katjaa method.
He more than likely sits and contemplates it, sitting next to the Excavator outside with Bonnie and Kenny. His interaction with Clementine would be like in the shed, he'd probably answer/question/say a few things before going completely silent and in his own world when Clem tries to say anything to him, leaving her talking to herself before he gets up mid-sentence and walks into the woods without a word. She'd probably think it's weird but leaves him alone.
Nick goes out deep into the woods, and probably finds a tree to sit against (just cuz it seems more peaceful than letting ur body hit the ground after), before using his gun and ending it.
The others more than likely hear the gunshot. Either leaving them on edge after hearing it or piecing together that Nick's gone and hadn't come back after the shot.
I don't feel they would go searching for him at night in the woods either just to confirm or deny their suspicions especially if they run into another stranger or zombies - besides the mental state Nick was in before disappearing would probably be enough for everybody to assume something bad happened. After the whole Arvo shooting Clem thing and they run away. Arvo, Mike, and Bonnie run into the woods to escape and eventually find Nick's body, a bit torn up and disfigured from the zombies already having feasted off his deceased body, but it was still inevitably Nick. (Offscreen obviously)
I think this death is morbid but feel as if it fits better with his character😭
either way Nick wouldn't have the strength to keep going if he lived after the fence basicallyI GOT LAZY WITH THIS ONE TO WHAT THE CAT I WAS SO EXCITED TO WRITE ABOUT IT THEN I THINK I GOT LAZY AGAIN SOVBIDNG
Nick and ketchup & Luke and mustard /ij
