27. Little Vacation

Aadhya-

I drifted in sleep knowing that I cannot give up yet as I didn't go through from all this for nothing. I might just need a break which I am thinking to take it tomorrow.

*Next Day*

I took a half day and decided to write the plot and character names for my next upcoming book, and I did all of that in few hours.

Dad left for the NGO, (it is a non- government organization for pet animals) in the early morning as they called him to share something good and important and he is about to come *doorbell rings* and here he is.

I called in the NGO to make sure when they were going to leave my dad for a lunch break.

I got up and opened the door and my face brightens up suddenly because there was a huge grin waiting on his face. The moment he sees me, he hugged me. I was stilled and very unsure to what to do. So, I hugged him back still it felt so weird to be hugged after so many days or to receive this warmth which I always had but never let myself to experience it. I feel I don't deserve to feel it.

He broke the hug, and I gave him space to enter the house from the entrance.

" Guess what? " He asked me with a smile.

" There is good news. " I told while pouring water in the glass.

" A very very good news. " He sighed happily and sat on the couch.

" I am all ears papa. " I came with that glass.

" There is a huge event which is taking place in US and the demand of these pet animals are also very high there so someone has given a big amount of charity and told that we should take all of those animals there. They specifically told me to be the leader for that. You know how much I love animals. " He said. That optimism he showed while saying that and the way his eyes were shining. I want to preserve this forever.

" So, you are going on a little vacation. " I slide the glass on the table and give it to him.

This is a good opportunity to hunt down that bastard and kill him while my dad is being away from all this and safe.

" We are going there. It is our little trip my daughter. " He took the glass the gulped down the water.

I didn't saw that coming. First, I will make sure that this isn't a tactic of that bastard, but he won't waste that many amount just to kidnap my father while he can do that easily here. 

" That place is really good. Should I.......? " He asked while scrunching his eyes a little to make sure he should go or not.

" Go? " I completed the sentence.

" Yes, ofcourse why not. You should take a little break and live a while, Crocodile. " I said that with full of enthusiasm to lighten up his mood.

" Yeah but...... " He is still worried. I can't blame him for his worry too, the way I have been living abstemiously past few years, but I have been good since past few days.

They all do have an effect on me. 

" No buts or ifs, I will be fine. " I assured him.

I don't know what I will say if asks me one more time.

" Will you come with me, beta? " He asks again with much more hope.
