Marriage and War

Fight 1

Kuro arrives at school with his Abysses waiting for him.

"Hey there champ. Glad to see our Leader up and ready." Gakushu says.

"Just call me Kuro like you usually do. I may be the Leader in the War, but I'm still me." Kuro says.

"And a married man later on." Yusuke jokes, knowing that he is betrothed.

Yet they don't know who he is betrothed to.

"Look at that. The Trouble Trio is already planning some delinquent stuff." Yuna quips with her friends following her.

"Look at that. The Rule Demon and her secretaries look like they're ready to clean up." Kuro replies.

They may be betrothed, but they still hate each other.

"Ready to land second place for the National Mock Exams." Kuro tells her, making sure nobody sees his Clan Insignia fading.

"You can eat my ink. If there's any left after the test." Yuna retorts.

"Depending on it running out, before you can even turn your test in." Kuro remarks.

"It's the Anti-spouses again." Someone points out.

"Fighting like an old married couple." Another says.

Kuro and Yuna blush with those comments.

Normally they would brush it off, but after being betrothed to each other, the word "spouses" or "married" makes them turn red.

"We're not married! And I would never marry a/an Demon/Animal like him/her. What did you call me?" Kuro and Yuna yell at them, then at each other.

"They only hear this now?" Their friends wonder in unison.

"Even if Hell and Heaven would dance together, I wouldn't want to be with her!" Kuro says.

"That's one thing we can agree on. I'd rather have the world going down, than be with Saotome." Yuna voices her strong opinion.

"I don't think it is possible but I think Hatorishima is his fiancée." Gakushu whispers to Yusuke.

"No way. Even if arranged they wouldn't be possible." Yusuke replies.

"It's getting late. I recommend you not to be late, Trouble Trio. That goes for everyone else too. Let's go Ami, Nemuri." Yuna says not wanting to deal with this further.

"She's bossing us around, as if she is the Student Council President." Kuro mutters as the students file in the school building.

"By the way. Your father told us that we can't go to your secondary estate. The secondary estate will only be accessible to your and your fiancée's families and the drivers. So we can't visit you." Gakushu tells his Leader.

"That was expected. Father told me that I can't let you guys know. My friends turned bodyguards can't even bodyguard me. That is so stupid." Kuro states, making sure his fiancée isn't eavesdropping.

"But why were the Hatorishima with us during your Initiation Process?" Yusuke asks.

"They're our allies. We grant them protection, materials for their business and they grant us a bigger force as well as info and resources. And they can't be attacked or used by other Clans. That's why we took the opportunity to ally with them." Kuro explains.

"Also at lunch I will give you your new jobs. Now that you can't be my bodyguards anymore." Kuro adds.

The three reach their classroom and sit down ready for the National Mock Exams.
