Elijiah POV

He stood there for an hour... Ausha looked at him worriedly.

"Elijiah... You don't ha..."

"I'm fine. This isn't the first time this has happened. And it's not like I had a choice either. They wouldn't let me go even if I tried to move and flee. Sa tingin mo ba at papakawalan nila ako after having a taste of a nice meal in a while?"

"But look at you..."

"..." That's right, I may look worse than a ghost right now. Feeding? Just like humans need to eat food to regain energy, ghosts also require food to become strong again. However, unlike humans who can eat a variety of foods, ghosts feed on human energy. In other words, ghosts need to absorb energy from humans to survive, not from instant noodles, chocolate bars, or any other food items.

In worst-case scenarios, if your body can't take it you will collapse, get sick, and may be bedridden for a week or a month at last.

"I have been hearing the rumor about this for a while that almost every student who was last here and who came locks the door either got sick or fainted. So this was it..."

"..."

"What a bothersome..."

"Elijiah..."

"Simula pa ng bata pa ako... or maybe even the day I was born I am always attracted to every entity... I especially have a unique energy that is really attracted to things. I was used to it already..." Ever since I was young...

"D-Dad... Waaah! I'm scared! There is someone!" Then pointed at the corner. The father sees nothing and just looks at the child in contempt. The child continues to cry but the father completely ignores the child. "Dad.... Waaaah! I'm scared."

"Get out! Get out of here! Bakit mo nanaman bayan ginagawa?! Hindi kana ba na kuntinto patay ang mama mo! Because of you!"

"Waaaah! Dad! Paniwalaan niyo po ako! There't rweally tomeone there! I'm scared! They look at me like they want to e-eat me...!

"Enough, enough, enough! Patahimik mo naman ako! Wala na ang asawa ko!" The child continued to cry and seek his father even though his father was gripping and shaking him to stop at pinag tatabuyan siya.

In the end, the father loses his temper and pushes his child. Both of them are shocked by the incident. The child didn't expect to be treated that way by his father, while the father realizes what he has done but can't bring himself to say sorry. As a result, he gets up and leaves the house, leaving his 6-year-old child all alone.

"Dad! No! Don't l-leave! Sorry, k-katalanan ko, pleate dad! H-hindi ko na uyit gagawin..." But it was already late and the father was long gone... leaving him all alone.

That night, the kid realized he was completely alone except for the hideous thing surrounding him, laughing creepily and being scary.

"No! Go away! Help me! Help!" But no one seems to have heard him, or maybe no one really cared, that night was a hellish nightmare to him and as a child who was abandoned...

"Elijiah... A-Are you really okay?"

"... I'm fine. If I don't do this, who else can?" Sigh...

"What are you... You're being bullied by them, why would you do that for them?! They're nothing but mean to you!" I smiled.

"You're wrong, I'm not doing this for them." Ausha was taken aback.
