Esther was having fun playing with her older cousins Kagami and Yashi in her home when all of a sudden they heard people screaming.

Kagami and Yashi quickly stood up and quickly took out a kunai.

Kagami quickly went to the door looked at Yashi and Esther and said,"Yashi go bring Esther to her mother I will meet you there later."

Yashi nodded and picked up Esther as Kagami left.

Scared Esther buried her head into Yashi neck and said,"Y-Yashi what's going on I'm scared."

Yashi looked down at Esther and said,"Don't worry I will protect you."

Esther nodded and held unto Yashi tighter as he took off.

Esther's home

As soon as they reached Esther's home Yashi put Esther down and looked at her. "Stay by my side at all times" Esther nodded and held Yashi's hand.

Yashi was nervous on the way he saw so many of his clan members dead bodies on floor, stuck through windows and doors. He wanted to throw up when he saw that but he couldn't all he could do was make sure that Esther was safe and that she did not see them.

Yashi was 14, 7 years older than Esther but still a child. He is only a chunin. He knows that whoever did this is stronger than him. Looking at Esther he decides that if he has to die to protect her he will.

Yashi slowly went to the door and decided to check for chakra signatures. His eyes widened he quickly walked into the house. He was basically dragging Esther as he ran into the living room.

"Obasan" he yelled as he saw her on the floor. Esther's eyes widened as she saw her mother on the floor pale and bleeding. She ran to her mother as tears started to gather in her eyes. "Okaasan" she cried as she started to shake her mother. "Okaasan, Okaasan!" she yelled.

Yashi quickly went to check her pulse and quickly sighed out of relief. "She's alive but barely we have to get her to a hospital." Yashi quickly ripped a piece of his shirt and used it to wrap the cut on her back so she would not lose blood as fast.

Right after he did this he felt a chakra signature coming at them fast. He quickly jumped in front of Esther and pulled out a kunai.

It was Kagami. Kagami looked like she came out of a horror movie she had cuts all over her body and she had a stab wound in her stomach. Her sharingan was active and she quickly said,"Go get out of here run to the Hokage."

Yashi was shocked,"What happened?" he said as he stood up and quickly made a shadow clone.

She went and said,"All of this destruction is because of Uchiha Itachi." She spat.

Yashi widened as did Esther's. "Now go quickly its not safe for you guys here."

Yashi nodded and he and his shadow clone quickly left. Please stay safe Kagami he thought.

As soon as they left they heard the sounds of fighting in the house. Yashi and his clone quickly added more chakra to there feet so they could be faster. Esther's eyes were not closed this time. They were open and she was crying she saw some of her friends and family members dead. Her baby cousin who was born a few months ago head was on the floor and his body a few feet away. The baby's parents were dead nearby one with the throat cut and the other with a kunai in there head.

Yashi noticing what Esther was looking at said,"Esther close your eyes." And she did she did not want to see her loved ones dead anymore.

Yashi quickly dodged to the right as a kunai came flying by. Turning around he saw Itachi Uchiha with his mangekyou sharingan active with blood all over him. Yashi cursed knowing that this was most likely it for him. Looking at Esther in his clone's arms and her mom in his he decided that he would have to stall time for them to escape.

Yashi looked back at Itachi and activated his sharingan it was only 2 tomoes but he knew he needed all the help he could get. He blinked and Itachi was right in front of him katana in hand about to slash him down. He quickly jumped back but didn't get away unharmed. He started to panic a little he knew that he was no match of Itachi but how was he supposed to at least try to get Esther away and out of harm and her mom to safety. Feeling the cut on his arm burn he knew what he had to do. He quickly made one more shadow clone and passed Esther's mom to that one. And he then pulled out a shadow bomb and quickly through it on the floor. He used it as a distraction so that his clones could get away.

He felt his clones chakra signatures dashing away and smiled. As he smiled he felt a sword puncture his stomach. He coughed as blood came out of his mouth and he screamed as he felt the sword go higher and higher until he felt nothing at all.

Near the entrance to the Uchiha Clan Gate

Esther was silent as she left Yashi. She and Yashi's clones were running to the entrance of the clan's gates when they suddenly popped away. Esther fell to the floor and tumbled away as they were going pretty fast. She quickly got up and ran to her mom who was also on the floor. She started to pick up her mom by wrapping her arm around her moms waist when she felt this horrible pain in her leg. She screamed and fell dropping her mom as she saw a kunai buried in the calf of her left leg. She cried as she turned around to see Itachi standing right above her.

She watched as he lifted his arm getting ready to kill her as she looked behind him. She cried and screamed even more as she saw Yashi on the floor dead. "Why are you doing this" She cried as she and Sasuke were best friends and she saw Itachi as an older brother.

Itachi seemed to stop for a moment but he then continued and Esther quickly turned around and started to run but it was of no use. Itachi slashed her hard in the back and she fell to the ground.

Right at that moment Sasuke Uchiha came crying and screaming. He saw Esther his best friend on the floor and screamed. He quickly started running to her but Itachi did not let the happen. He grabbed Sasuke by the wrist hard and forced him to look into his eyes. Sasuke cried and said,"Niisan why are you doing this." Itachi shrugged and said,"Because I was bored." Sasuke shook his head when he said that and said,"Niisan why did you do this to our clan why did you kill Okaasan and Otousan."

Itachi ignored him and said,"If you want to kill me, despise me, hate me, and live a loathsome life"

Right after that he put his younger brother Sasuke into an Infinite Tsukuyomi right as he did that he saw that Sasuke unlocked his sharingan. As he ran through the trees he remembered that Esther did as well.
