The Academy

Esther quickly sat up after Iruka spoke. She was nervous, she had no idea what team she would be on. She looked around the classroom trying to think of who her teammates might be. Her eyes stopped at Naruto Uzumaki. She was surprised to see him here, and with a Hitai-ate at that.

She nudged Ino, who looked at her confused. She then leaned in to her and whispered,"Why is Naruto here if he did not pass the exam?" Ino shrugged and said,"He was explaining it earlier, I don't really remember but I believe he fought someone strong?" Esther was still confused, how did Naruto fighting someone strong allow him to pass the exam. Then Sakura leaned in and whispered,"I know what happened I will tell you guys later." Esther and Ino nodded and payed attention to Iruka.

"Team 7 consists of Naruto Uzumaki" Naruto smiled as he heard his name, "Sakura Haruno" Sakura sighed, Naruto had a big crush on her and was quite annoying, she hoped her other teammate would be Esther or Sasuke, "Sasuke Uchiha" Sasuke immediately frowned, he definitely did not want to be on a team with Naruto, he looked at the pinkette she was the second strongest kunoichi in their class he recalled and she was the second smartest as well she would not be to bad, "And Esther Uchiha." Esther looked up shocked, a four man team?

Esther and Sakura looked at eachother and grinned, they were happy that they were on the same team.

Sakura then raised her hand. Iruka looked at her and said,"Yes, Sakura?" "Sensei how come there is 4 genin on one squad?" "We had an even number of guardetes this year." Sakura then nodded as it made sense. Iruka then continued,"Team 7's Jonin-sensei is Hatake Kakashi" Esther suddenly had a feeling that she heard that name before. After finding out her team she zoned out and next thing she knew it was only her team left in the classroom.

Esther sighed and looked at the clock. She looked to Sakura and said,"If he is not here in 10 minutes I'm leaving." Sakura sighed and slouched in her seat. "I've heard that our sensei is one of the strongest people in the village after the hokage but I'm starting to doubt that now."

Esther now remembers why she knew that name. After the... incident he was the one who was with her when she woke up. She was scared and was a bit attached to him for a few months. She wondered how he was doing.

Naruto then shot up from his seat and and ran to the front of the classroom. He grabbed the eraser and than ran to the door. Esther was a bit interested in what Naruto was doing. Naruto then placed the eraser on the door and then giggled. Esther was a bit disappointed, that was it? She has heard a lot about Naruto's pranks but she had never had the chance to see it in action. And the first one she was going to be was going to be a bit boring.

Right at that moment Kakashi walked in and the eraser hit his head. Naruto smiled while Sakura and Sasuke did not look impressed. Esther just watched on tired. Kakashi then said, "My first impression of you all is that I hate you." He then told them to meet on the top of the roof as he disappeared in a swirl of leaves.
