amaris laid flat on her back on her bunk, listening to the sound of the train and grovers snoring, she couldn't sleep every time she closed her eyes she saw her mothers face, her disappointed face.
"hey, you awake?" she heard percy asked she sighs, "trying to.." she replied quietly trying not to wake the other two kids.
"can't sleep either?" she heard the boy ask again, she sighed realizing he wouldn't give up on a conversation, "nope, just..it's nothing why can't you sleep?.." she asks softly turning her head to his bunk.
"anxious I guess.." percy replies quietly, "but, why can't you?" he asked, she looked back at the ceiling of the top bunk that grover was on, "my mom..I just don't think she would be proud of me." she answered.
"Artemis?.." percy asked quietly and she looked over at him, "no, my biological mother, artemis is a maiden, she can't have kids I'm just a huntress of hers" she answered looking back up at the ceiling above her.
"oh well, I don't think she would, I think your an amazing, strong and smart girl, amaris." percy replied with a small grin and amaris shook her head rolling her eyes and laughing quietly as she threw a extra pillow at him, "oh shut up" she replied, "hey!" he states laughing.
MEANWHILE AT CAMP HALF-BLOOD
esmeray walks looking around for amaris her cousin blood related by their mortal parents, their mothers are sisters, she saw luke, who's also her boyfriend, she quickly walked up to him, "luke! I haven't talked to ri in 2 days where the hell is she?" esmeray asked the concern clear in her voice.
"Oh you didn't get told? she was picked to go on a quest." luke replied looking down at the girl, esmerays eyes widen and she stares at him like he just tripped a old person, "and you let her go?! you know how dangerous quests can be!" esmeray yelled at him earning a shocked reaction from the boy.
"es I didn't really have choice in the matter." luke stated looking at the girl regret on his face, esmeray shook her head sighing and walked away quite ticked off.

amaris heard the lady telling the officer that they were the ones that recked their cabin she rolled her eyes her jaw clenching, this lady couldn't possibly be serious, "this fucking cunt.." she mumbled underneath her breath as the officer walked over to them.
amaris put on a innocent smile nodding as the officer spoke to them, "wait you think we did this?.." percy asked over the loud wind, "did you?" the officer asked, amaris rolled her eyes feeling percys chest press against her shoulder as he got closer to speak to the officer, "I mean how?! and why?!" percy spoke louder, "sir when we left to get breakfast everything was intact." grover spoke up from behind percy.
