I stretch out my arms in front of me, letting my shoulders crack to relieve the stress I'm feeling. It's finally the day of the Provisional Licensing Exam. I can tell the rest of my classmates are feeling stressed, too.
Mr. Aizawa turns to us, making everyone go quiet. "If you can pass this test and get your provisional licenses, then you novice eggs will hatch into chicks. You'll be semi-pros. I expect your best."
"All right. I can't wait to be a heroic chicken," Kaminari says, getting excited.
I cover my mouth to keep my giggles in. "Pfft. A heroic chicken."
"Let's call out the usual, you guys." Kirishima raises a fist in the air. "On my mark. Go plus..."
"Ultra!" Some tall guy from another school finishes for Kirishima. He looks pretty proud of himself, too.
Another boy and a pretty girl come up behind the other boy. "Y'know, it's pretty rude to barge into other people's huddles like that, Inasa."
"What? Pardon me. I am so... very... extremely... sorry!" The boy now known as Inasa apologies, ramming his head into the ground from how hard he bowed.
Izuku yelps at the boy's actions.
Kaminari points at Inasa. "Who is this guy? I do not trust his enthusiasm."
"I dunno, I think he's kinda funny," I chuckle lightly.
"Hey, look at their uniforms."
"There from that famous school on the other side of Japan."
"UA in the East. Shiketsu in the west," Katsuki says.
"Oh hey, I was originally offered my scholarship there when I was in America."
Kirishima turns to me with a surprised look. "Really? Why'd you turn them down?"
"So I could go to school with my brother and best friend." I smile at the redhead. "I've also met some amazing new friends as well." Kirishima returns my smile.
"I wanted to say it just once! Plus Ultra! See, I really love UA high school. I am extremely honored to compete against such incredible students. I'm so looking forward to it," Inasa exclaims, not noticing or caring about the blood running down his forehead.
The purple haired boy turns away from us. "Let's go."
Inasa and the girl follow after him, heading inside the building for the exam.
"Inasa Yoarashi."
Hagakure turns to our teacher. "Do you know that guy, Mr. Aizawa?"
"Indeed. He's strong." Everyone gasps at Mr. Aizawas words. "He's the same year as you all and received the top scores for students admitted through recommendations. But for some unknown reason, he turned down his acceptance to UA and went to Shiketsu."
"Wait. He's... our age?" Izuku mumbles.
'He's one to watch out for, then.'
"Hold on. Is anyone else confused here? This guy says that he loves our school, but he turned down his chance to enroll when it was offered?" Sero questions.
