Chapter Ten: Newspaper

"A newspaper?" Everyone asks in unison.

Mr. Aizawa nods. "Yeah. They wanna do a feature on your class for some reason."

"Isn't that amazing, Deku?"

Izuku turns away from the brunette, blushing lightly. "Mm-hm!"

I chuckle lightly from behind my hand. Izuku always gets so flustered when it comes to girls. Except for me since we grew up together, basically like siblings.

"That's kinda surprising, huh?" Kaminari grins.

Kirishima folds his arms behind his head. "Uh, not really."

"Yeah, I mean, the sports festival was on TV." Ojiro adds.

"We've gotta look super cute in case they wanna take our picture." Hagakure's floating clothes bounce a bit as she talks.

Mina grins, holding her fists in the air. "For sure! Y/n, we will help you look cute, too!"

Kaminari grins, a rosy tint across his cheeks. "I wouldn't mind seeing Y/n in girly clothes."

I turn to the two girls, an irritated look crossing my features. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

"Hunny, you are wearing cargo pants and a baggy shirt," Mina states, pointing at my clothes.

I look down at my black cargo pants and f/c tee shirt. They look fine to me. "What's wrong with my clothes being from the men's section?"

Mina and Hagakure share a matching disappointed look before sighing. "She's hopeless."

"That's enough."

Everyone goes quiet at Mr. Aizawas' words. "Yes, sir."

"It's nothing too exciting. The articles about how you're settling in, adjusting to dorm life, that kinda thing. Principal Nezu thought it would be a good idea. This'll show your parents and guardians that you're happy here. Maybe set a few minds at rest..."

Mineta starts mumbling something about his 'sticky balls' to Sero. Not a moment later, he is wrapped up in Mr. Aizawa's capture weapon.

"I expect you all to be on your best behavior today."

'Creep.'

"Don't worry on my account, Mr. Aizawa. I wanna get a feel for what dorm life is really like, so there's no need for them to act any differently than normal." A tall ravenette guy speaks from around the corner.

"I didn't say you could come in yet."

"I was told I had from 8AM till 6PM. So, unless my watch is wrong..."

Mr. Aizawa gives the guy an unimpressed look as he drops Mineta from his capture weapon.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Taneo Tokuda. I'm looking forward to learning more about you all."

I bow with the rest of my class. "Nice to meet you!"

"Now, as I said, you don't need to do anything special. Just go about your day exactly as you normally would. The camera will do most of the work. I might ask an occasional question or two, and I hope you'll answer." Tokuda flashs a toothy smile.

Mina gasps, resting both hands on her cheeks. "He's got such a nice smile!"

"That is so not a woman," Mineta complains, shaking his hands.

"Principal Nezu has probably already spoken to you about this, but I wanna make sure you don't interfere in any way. No offense..."

Mr. Aizawa cuts the reporter off. "I understand. If you need anything, just let me know."
