Jasper and I both look at each other as Monty begins to run out of the drop ship for the first time. I can't believe we're on earth and that we are alive. Like what!
It's crazy to think that over ninety seven years there was no one to touch foot on ground and now here we are. One hundred delinquents from space being sent down to save the ark.
Jasper reaches down and grabs my free hand unknowingly pulling me out of my thoughts. We quickly run out of the drop ship to finally step foot on earth and make our way to Monty.
"I can't believe we're on fucking earth!" I basically yell as I hug Monty and Jasper tight. I've always been a physical touch type of person but I guess I crave touch even more now since I didn't get any while I was locked up.
I step away from the boys and take a deep breath. The air here is different than the air on the ark. It feels cleaner and smoother. I'm not sure how to explain it.
It wasn't long before an argument broke out. I missed most of the argument till Jasper pulled me with him closer to the drop ship where the people causing the commotion was. Once we approached the group of people I hear the blonde girl who looks familiar but I just can't think of her name say something about how we're on the wrong mountain. Like what the actual fuck? Usually I'm a calm person but I know Mount Weather is our only chance at living.
"We're on the ground is that not enough for you" someone said.
When I say I jumped I mean I JUMPED. Like where did he even come from. I look beside Monty to see who the voice came from. He's the fucking guard I saw earlier. I can't help but wonder why and how he is here.
I honestly zoned out for the rest of the conversation just thinking about how crazy it was that I was on earth and how hot this guard is. No like for real he's hot.
I got pulled out of my thoughts again but this time not by Monty or Jasper but by the blonde girl. She was asking me if I was going. I have no idea where I was going and I really don't want to agree to something I don't know.
"Am I going where?" I feel stupid for asking.
"We're going to find Mount Weather to get food and supplies, so are you in?" She asks with a sharp tone.
"Um -" I was cut off.
"Count me in." A really pretty girl said as she walked closer to the blonde girl. Man I really have to learn names.
"No absolutely not." The guard says.
"Bellamy you can't control me, I'm going and that's it. We're on frickin earth not the ark anymore. You don't have to protect me."
This Bellamy dude did not like that answer. I swear his face twitched. Not that it wasn't hot. What can I say, I haven't seen any hot guys in two years of course I'm gunna think the first guy I see is hot.
He was about to respond but I took this as my chance to finally reply.
"I'm going with, it's better than staying here doing nothing." I look back at the blonde girl yet to find out her name. Fuck it I'm just going to ask. "Also what's your name, you look familiar."
"Okay great we leave in five so grab your stuff, also my name is Clarke, Clarke Griffin."
Hold the mf phone!! CLARKE.
"Wait is your mom's name Abby?" I genuinely ask."Yes?" She doesn't seem to sure about her answer but honestly neither would I if some random person asked me who my mom was.
"Oh she gave me something to give you." After I said that the whole group was staring at me. Was there something on my face? Just to be safe I looked away and discreetly whipped my face.
