The new arrival at the Tree of Life, Uharibifu, was welcomed with utmost hospitality. However, everyone was completely unaware of his true intentions.

The next day, Kion woke up and saw Rani returning from her nightly patrol. Kion takes one look at her and notices the exhaustion she was enduring.

Kion: Good morning Rani.

Rani looked at him breathless then smiled.

Rani: Good morning, Kion.

Kion: Night patrol a little tiring?

Rani: Yes. Had to lift a tree for the foxes to escape. It was exhausting.

Kion: I can tell. For right now, go get some rest.

Rani nodded and headed inside the Tree of Life.

Meanwhile, Kion turned to the rest of his friends and spoke.

Kion: How are you guys this morning?

Night Pride: All is well, you should start day patrol.

Kion: Understood, let's go Day Pride!

The Day Pride obliged and followed their king and leader into the forest region of the Tree of Life.

The day patrol went without any slipups or misfortunes throughout the day. In the late afternoon, Uharibifu woke up after some rest and Kion was to show him around the vicinity.

Kion first showed him around the tundra area where Uharibifu appeared astonished at all the animal life and how they survive in such harsh conditions.

Kion: This is the tundra biome, where many animals thrive, despite the harsh living conditions.

Uharibifu: It is truly amazing! I wonder what it would be like to live here.

Kion: We would perhaps freeze our tails off.

Both lions laughed.

The lions continued their journey throughout the various biomes in the Tree of Life and both had a great time.

Their last stop was the desert area and Uharibifu decided at this time to stir up some minor trouble.

He stumbled and tripped himself, causing his fall into the sand. A couple animals looked at him in confusion.

Kion looked toward him and helped him up.

Kion: Hey, are you ok?

Uharibifu: Why did you trip me?

Kion looked at him dumbfounded and astounded.

Kion: I did not.

Uharibifu looked at him unconvinced.

Uharibifu: Yea sure. Let's just finish this tour and get it over with.

Kion was confused by the lion's sudden change in his behavior, but just shook it off and took it as a minor misconception.

However, the king was completely unaware of the subsequent events that would occur soon.
