Kion: R-Rani?!

Both lions broke apart instantly and looked at Kion. Uharibifu had an evil, mischievous smirk on his face while Rani's face was filled with horror, guilt, and utter rue.

Rani: K-Kion! What are you doing here?

Kion: How could you Rani! I thought I could trust you with my life! I never thought that you were capable of such a treacherous act!

Kion shouted through tears of despair and betrayal.

Uharibifu just stared at the perpetual conflicted couple's conversation. He just smirked evilly and let the conversation reach its maximum.

Rani: I'm sorry ok! I just didn't have that loving feeling for you anymore. Being with Uharibifu makes me feel safe and loved. However, with you it now feels the contrary.

Kion had heard and experienced enough. He dashed out of the Tree of Life, leaving Makini and the two lions frozen in shock.

Makini then gave the coldest glare at Rani and Uharibifu.

Makini: How could you Rani? You are no true queen.

With that, Makini dashed after Kion and began shouting his name. However, Kion didn't stop and ran towards the mountain pass.

Throughout the pitch darkness of the evening, Makini's shouts were heard by everyone, who immediately ran to examine the scene.

At the mountain pass, Kion arrived. He was feeling lonely, confused, unloved, and most of all, betrayed and abandoned. He was going to leave the Tree of Life for good.

Makini: Kion! Kion! Stop please!

Kion didn't turn around, but he responded.

Kion: I endured enough betrayal in the past week, and I now understand that no one respects me, let alone acknowledges me, or cares for me. Enjoy yourselves. Love comes to those who still hope after disappointment, who still believe after betrayal, and who still love after being hurt.

With that, Kion dashed off, leaving his old home behind, with a hope of finding a new home suitable for a living.
