Ippo: how could I.....
Y/n: just how......
Takamura: you two wanna become like me don't ya?
Ippo and Y/n: huh?
Takamura: then you've got to be able to do this much. Now then for starters, you should be able o, grab ten leaves.
Ippo: ten whole leaves?!
Takamura: that's right, or else you can just give up the idea of becoming a boxer.
They two then stare at the leaves in their hands and then gripped them tightly then looked towards Takamura and said
Ippo: ok I'll do it!
Takamura: hm?
Ippo: I will grab ten leaves!
Y/n: without a doubt we will!
Takamura: ok, ya got one week!
Ippo: what?! You're only giving us one week?!
Y/n: ate you insane?!
Takamura: why not? I was able to do it without any training, hmph.
He then goes off to do his roadwork. Ippo sees a leaf falling down and manages to grab it.
Ippo: ha! That's not so bad, he just made it look real tricky. Ten shouldn't be so hard.
Y/n: I sure hope so.......
Ippo then pushes the three and gets in a boxing pose
Ippo: one leaf, alright number two!
As he tries to grab it, the first leaf falls out if his hand
Y/n: let me get a try.
Y/n shakes the tree and gets in a boxing pose.
Y/n:* alright, go with speed......*
He then starts going fast while trying to grab ten leaves. Even though he was fast, he still wasn't able to do it.
Y/n: wha?!
We now cut to Takamura who sprinting on the dirt path
Takamura:* there's no way they can grab ten leaves. I must say though, I was impressed by the power of those punches..... but they're not the type to become a boxer. It would really be all for the best if they gave up this crazy idea.*
He then runs faster as we switch back over to the boys who still can't grab more than one leaf at a time. Ippo tries again but as he went for the second, he twirled around and landed next to the tree.
Ippo: I.... I just can't catch..... the second leaf.....hah, this is alot harder than I thought!
Y/n: you're telling me........ wait a sec......*gasp*!
Ippo and Y/n: we're gonna be late for school!
We cut to see their mom washing dishes and then they suddenly arrived at the house
Ippo: I'm home!
Y/n: hey mom!
They then rushed to the table to eat their food
Mom: good morning boys, where have you two been? Breakfast is ready- ah,you're both already eating- you shouldn't eat so fast!
They quickly get their uniforms almost falling over eachother trying to get out of the door
Ippo: see you later!
Y/n: we'll make up for this mom, I promise!
We now cut to them in school as the teacher in Ippo's class is teaching as Ippo is sitting there wondering how to catch the second leaf
