Your mom opens the door

Kate: Omg hey!
They hug and y'all walk inside and sit at the counter
Mom: So what did y'all do today?

You stumble to find you're words
"Should I tell her?" you think to yourself.
You look over at Kate to see a smile on her face
Y/n: I got a boyfriend
Mom: OMG I'm so happy for you!
Y/n: and it's Chris
Mom: I knew it!
Y/n: What do you mean??
Mom: Me and you're Dad had a bet on if you were going with either Chris or Matt
Kate: Oh wow haha!
You and Kate burst out in laughter
Mom: Did I miss something?
Y/n: Yes!
Kate: Me and Matt are together!
Mom: OMG I'M SO HAPPY FOR BOTH OF YOU!!
You all hug and Kate leaves and you start to head up to you're room
Mom: Your father and Jimmy might find this very lovely!
Y/n: Really?
Mom: Yes! They would explode! They were so damn happy that you were a girl! They thought they would balance out but they were soon wrong!
Your mom said laughing
Mom: Goodnight sweetie!
