Chapter 1

{Son residence}

Goku:"Why do I have to stop training Chi-Chi? Piccolo might return at any time and-"

Chi-Chi:"No buts Goku. You are a husband now and you need to spend time with your wife"

Goku:"Well can we spend time together training?"

Chi-Chi:"Training isn't everything Goku, There's scholarships and career. Speaking of which let's try to get you one"

Goku:"Chi-Chi, I don't need a career, I can just make more money in tournaments"

Chi-Chi:"Of course you need one, How else are we going to encourage our future children to study?"

Goku is about to retort when he suddenly feels a large amount of Ki appear out of nowhere.

Chi-Chi:"Goku? What's wrong?"

Goku:"I sense a strong presence nearby"

Chi-Chi:"Is it Piccolo?!"

Goku:"It's not piccolo but it's someone strong. I'll go check it out, You make sure to stay safe"

Goku turns around and he opens their front door, Then he feels Chi-Chi pull at his gi.

Goku:"What's wrong, Chi-Chi?"

Chi-Chi:"I can also fight! Let's go together!"

Goku:"That's not a good idea, The opponent has a pretty high power"

Chi-Chi:"So you're calling me weak?!"

Chi-Chi asks glaring, hands on her hips.

Goku:"No, It's just that it might get dangerous and I don't want you getting hurt"

Chi-Chi:"Well it's nice of you to worry but I don't want to see you hurt either"

Goku sighs.

Goku:"Fine, Let's go but make sure to be alert at all times"

Chi-Chi nods and the two walk away.

{An hour later}

Goku:"It's around here"

Goku says walking out of the forest and he is stunned at what he sees. Chi-Chi follows soon after.

Chi-Chi:"Why did you get so quiet?"

Chi-Chi asks looking forward to see a massive crater at the center with a golden space pod at the center of it all.

Goku instinctively stretches his hand to stop Chi-Chi. He studies the pod carefully not sure of what could be inside.

Chi-Chi:"Goku, What's that?"

Goku:"I don't know but it looks familiar in a way"

Goku carries Chi-Chi.

Chi-Chi: 0////0"H-hey!"

Goku jumps down and he slides along the bent land created by the crater, The two stop at the center now facing the pod that was only feet away.

Goku:"Could there be food inside?"

Chi-Chi:"Now's not the time for that!"

Chi-Chi says jumping off Goku who sheepishly scratches his neck.

Chi-Chi moves closer to the pod and she starts to circle it studying it's features.

Goku:"Maybe Bulma will know something about this"
