*Step-step-step*

Traces of footprints in the sand, genuine chuckles and giggles can be heard coming out from the two high schoolers who are chasing each other by the seashore.

As the wind blew, the sound of the waves are crashing, and the sun is setting slowly. Both are enjoying themselves by the seashore, feeling happy and playful.

For them, it's just like a dream, so surreal... As if the world is turning slowly for them.

Feeling the breeze on their skin, they hoped that this moment would last forever. Their minds are occupied with nothing, no worry, no stress, no fear, nothing. Just letting themselves embrace the beauty of creation in front of them and the time they both were having together before they bid their goodbyes to each other.

The sounds of laughter gradually lows down as both pant and catch their breaths, their faces filled with amusement with what they were doing.

"Ahh... Hah... Hahaha..!"

"Pfffttt!--"

"O-oh gosh.. — I-I'm, hah...- losing my breath. Ahaha!"

Despite being so out of breaths, they are still chuckling and laughing, their eyes disappearing due to the uncontrollable smiles that were displayed on their joyous countenance that're almost slitting their mouths open.

"Y-you're so fast.. - Aaahahah!"

"I told you, you cannot catch me- hah... Hahaha!" She replied, teasing him with a wink while sticking her tongue out.

His eyes softens while his lips curves, forming a gentle smile on his face when he suddenly snaps back to reality when she begins to talk.

"(H/N), are you alright?? You're face looks reddish." She states with a genuine frown of concern.

He twitches slightly, embarrassed. "O-oh, I am?—" He replies, gazing to the sand.

"Woooahh...." Her voice filled with amazement.

"Huh?" Curious, he begins to look towards the direction she's looking.

With eyes coruscating, they both stare at the beautiful art of such marvelous view, absorbing each detail and beauty of it.

"What a sight..." She says, giggling lightly over the sunset and the mixed-color sky.

He lightly closes his eyes, taking in deep breaths, he loves the feeling, it's pleasant, it's peaceful, it's... Quiet.

"I love sunsets." A soft tone came out of her.

"I know. That's why I took you here."

Taken aback, she turns her head to look at him and blinks her eyes a couple of times.

His words had hit a nerve on her, she was stunned but eventually her face softens, feeling a slight of bashfulnness, yet grateful.

She turns her head back towards wonderful art of the sky with a gentle smile. "Ah... Thank you, (H/N). I truly appreciate it."

"It's a goodbye gift. Since.... I'm going to Norway..." He replies, sounding heavy-hearted.

She looks down at her feet and chuckles clumsily. "..Heh...you're actually leavi-"

Before she could finish her sentence, he wraps his arms around her from behind and rests his head on her shoulder.

"...."

"(H/N)?? W-what are you-" Astonished, her face flush at his action.

"I have to tell you something... I've been carrying this heavy burden for over 3 years, and now... Before I leave, I.. I'm finally going to say it before I change my mind again."

"...." She noded, indicating that she's all ears.

He is taking in and building up the courage, finding the right words to express his feelings. However, he doesn't want to directly just say "I love you" to her.

He straightened his back, letting go of her, face-to-facing her.

Her heart arose quickly, expecting horrible or sad news from him; making her eyebrows collide to each other and look seriously at him.

He took a deep breath, staring unto the sand before finally gazing at her with intense seriousness.

"(S/N)... I—inhale—I desire to be with you. My heart thrust whenever I think of another man holding your hand, embracing you, and loving you close. I want that man to be me. So please, when I get back, let me court you. Until then, if you can reciprocate these selfish feelings of mine, and learn to love me as a man, not a friend as I introduce myself inside your heart, let us marry."

Silence.

Her mind went blank. Looking at him blanky, she couldn't comprehend the words faster, her mind wouldn't cooperate with her either.

(Sorry if I might have errors, English isn't my first language and I just wanted to write for fun- HAHAHAHA)
