When we met the Taylors at the airport, I found out that they were pleasant, agreeable people.

"How do you do Mr Taylor?"Alan said.

"How do you do. Good afternoon."Mr Taylor said with a big smile.

"It is nice to meet you. I'm Sam."

Oh good..They both understand snippets of Thai language.

"This is my wife, Jeff."

"Pleased to meet you,"I said to them.

The Taylors greets me back.

"Shall we get a move on now?" Alan asked.

This is Rayong The City Pillar Shrine." Kris told them.

"Oh, fantastic!"

The Taylors were eager as childrens. I pulled out a camera.

"Would you like to take a picture?"

Mr Taylor nodded happily. "Thank you very much."

"Can I take a picture with you?" Mrs Taylor requested.

"With us?" I asked.

I glanced briefly at Alan.

"Good idea,"Alan said. "Lets get one together while we're at it."

"Okay.."

I asked a passerby for help.

Come to think of it, I havent had any pictures taken with Alan since our wedding.

He refused them during the honeymoon.

"Okay, here it goes. Say cheese...!" Snap..

I thanked the passerby for his help.

"Show the Taylor how it turned out,"Alan instructed.

I did as told.

I showed them the data for the picture and the Taylors chatted excitedly.

They're nestling so close together. They really get along nicely, What a warm couple.

"Somdet Kromluang Chumhon Temple is on the top of this hill..."

We climbed the steep hill and the Shrine which is said to important to the people here finally came into view. How exhausting.

How sad. I could have done this without breaking a sweat when I was younger.

The Taylors are out of breath too. Of course they would be, it was a long climb.

The only one who look completely normal is Alan.

Perhaps that was why he started to ascend the stairs up to the Shrine's gate without pausing for a rest.

But that's a bad idea. If we dont take a break here.......

"There is a history about this place here...."I said.

The Taylors paused in their track and looked back at me.

"The Prince of
Chumporn, or to give him his full title, Admiral Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse, Prince of Chumporn (1880-1923) is honoured throughout Thailand as the "Father of the Thai Navy", and this shrine in the eastern-most part of Rayong Province is only one of scores if not hundreds of monuments, shrines and statues scattered around Thailand in his honour."

Noticing that the Taylor had paused, Alan finally stopped walking.

The Taylors climbed the stairs at a leisure pace that wouldnt wear them out.
