I often wonder,
when did we actually
become human?
There's a thin line
separating animal
and human.
Both are beautiful,
But destuctive
to themselves.
It's a beautiful mess really.
Humans can hate
so easily.
Controled by
rage and revenge.
They have a need
to hurt and destroy
anything that gets in their way.
Showing no mercy.
But they have the
need to love as well.
And the same need
to be loved.
The need to take
one in their arms,
and never let go.
Protecting them
from all harm.
No matter what it takes.
That's the thing though,
some animals,
just don't care.
They say,
"It's a dog eat dog world,
you're on your own.
Ya look out for you,
and only you.
Or ya get your throat slit."
They leave their young
to fend for themselves.
Because that's
all they know.
All the
might ever know.
Then again,
isn't that we do as well?
Killling eachother
over what?
A piece of land?
Respect?
Ownership?
A name?
Useless things really.
We may never know,
maybe we already do.
Who knows?
I just wonder,
when did we become more?
When did we decide
enough was enough,
that we needed to change?
Do you know?
