Last night was Crazy. His brother came back from his "work" last night and they went to a big party. They are twins they look very alike. They partied for a long time he even talked with his crush. Emily! They are good friends now and hey maybe he could have a chance. So many things have happened last night. "Ugh," said James. He woke up in his room went down the stairs and saw that his twin brother was on the couch sleeping. "BOO" "AHHH" as his twin brother Alex fell off the couch. James was laughing so hard. "Come on man" "Your face. HAHAHA. You looked like a cat when they see a pickle." "Yeah yeah, very funny." "Oh yeah, how was boarding school?" "Hmm? Oh yeah. It was ok." "I saw you blushing last night." Alex grinned. "Uh no" denied James "Come on man tell me" "No" "Come on" "When we are both older" "ok, COWARD" "Hey!" "When you blush you look so funny, Tomato Man. I was trying not to laugh. But phfff." He wheezed "You look so funny" "what's for breakfast" "We have to go to the graveyard first." "Oh yeah..." "I miss her" "Me too" As they went to the graveyard. "And looked at their Mom's grave." "Wish our father would care more," said James "Yea." Said Alex. They went to their home and did a ton of fun activities together. In the middle of their totally not delivered dinner. "Ding Dong~" James opened the door "D-Dad?" "Hi, I know I've been absent for some time. But I'll make it up to you" "As they watched movies and enjoyed the day." "I'm gonna leave now." "Bye Dad!" "Bye..." "Why don't you stay here?" "I've started a new life." "Oh" "Bye..." Alex and James did some sneaky things before bed. As James drifted off to sleep.
*In Dream*
James saw a very familiar woman in front of him. "Mom? MOM" he yelled. Hmmmm as the woman looked at him her eyes brightened. "Sorry, you must have mistaken me for someone else." As she left a glowing orb approached him you are destined for something greater Quantum." "What?" "Take this cube. Keep it safe." "Wait. What is this?" "Something important." Said the orb "Who was that woman?" "..." "WHO WAS THAT WOMAN." "My time is over." As the orb disappeared. He looked behind him as a sword pierced him in the stomach.
*Back to reality*
James woke up. It was early in the morning. As he walked down the stairs and saw his dead brother killed like how he was in the dream "Why?" "Asked who?" As a man came from the shadows looking like a futuristic bounty hunter. As he hit James's face with the flat of his sword.
*Last Night*
"Yes, I know." "So you are doing this for your own skin?" "I know" "it's your choice." "I'm sending a Hunter tier towards your location." "Ok" "Thanks for the info" "goodnight." He hung up , as their father looked one more time at his beloved son's house "Goodbye." As tears leaked down his eyes. "Oh "The Goddess save me. As for "The Illusionist". I wish you DIE. For having me to do this."
*Back to James POV*

As I woke up, I was in an elevator going down. I see many floors.

"You're finally awake," said the man beside me. "Who the hell are you?"

"I'm a guy, and that's all you need to know."

"Ok. Then WHERE THE HELL AM I?" I raised my fist, but then I realised my fist was chained to the ground.

"The Illusionist created this great kingdom. It's called Verdian. Saving the Twisted like me. And we are going there right now."

"Ding~"

"He will explain more." Guards grabbed me and dragged me to an office.

"Hello there. My name or title is The Illusionist. It's a pleasure to meet you." He reached out a hand as I observed his appearance. He had blonde hair, and at his back were six tentacles like Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man.

"I see you have taken an interest in my equipment. Well, you see, I was an important guy. I went through a whole war wiping out the Lost Society's guardians, but all is well." He grinned. Are you Alex's friend?" he asked. Something in my gut told me to say yes, "Yes indeed."

"Interesting, are you? Would you like me to explain more to you? My kingdom is called Verdian. As Meler explained, it's currently quite peaceful here; however, Something is at stake. Our kingdom is being threatened to be destroyed by the Lost Society. The Quantum, see, we all have Something called a Resonance System. It is a dominant gene that goes down generations. Construct, Imaginary, Astral, Nova, Aquatic, Flame, Lightstruck, Sovereigns and Quantum. You will know your magic if you react to certain gemstones. However, these Resonances have to be awakened. For example, if you are near a Topaz, then you have the Construct Resonance. Now, we will only test you if you are a Surface Dweller. They don't have Resonance unless they have Etherian blood. You are going on a mission. To seize the Quantum Hero and bring him to me. Why would you work for me? You ask. I have everything you want, including your mother's soul. Want it back? Then earn it. You scum."

I was taken out of the chair and guided through a maze of blue hallways when we halted and were put into a camp.

"Ah, fresh blood." One hissed. Another prisoner? Sad, Sad indeed." Said one. This one will be great to play with," one whispered.

Suddenly, a girl came into the middle of the room. "Settle down people. Hi there, my name is Avelyn. What is your name?"

"My name is James. James Smith." "Well, nice to meet you, James. You have a weird name for an Etherian, or you are a surface dweller."

"I'm pretty sure you are a surface dweller." Everybody looked at me like I would be their food tonight. As I approached the bed, I didn't know how long I was awake or sleeping, but in the end, sleep consumed me whole on the bed.

James's Dream
As he slowly walked across the snowy area, James felt uneasy as the man with the shining sword approached him. He stood his ground as the man dissolved into the snow, appearing behind him.

"Why hello there? I'm quite delighted to have an accomplice in this lonely plain I walk."

"Who are you?"

"I think you should ask yourself. What are you?" The man stabbed James with his sword, waking James back to reality.
