Shadows of Affection

~Chapter 6~

It's been a month since y/n and Minho have been dating and they were lovey-dovey . Minho was the kind to be over-protective but he didn't care what other people said ,  little did he know that there was someone watching them for afar . 

-?- : " How is my son doing ? " 

-?- :" Apparently sir , he got himself a girlfriend . " 

-?- :" Interesting ... So he is happy now huh ? We will see if he's going to be still glad once he returns home . "

"  babe ~ " Minho whined  while whispering . They were actually in class stuying 'MATHS' . They were 'so' concentrated ... " Minho i'm trying to focus ... shh" y/n answered . " But ... I want your attention now princess ." Of course , y/n blushed at the nickname she still haven't got used to it . " Not now Minho please , later ok I will give you all my attention ." y/n added smiling . At that moment , Minho pouted cutely which made y/n chuckle . 

Finally , the bell rang . All the students got up to eat lunch since it was lunch time lol . " Now you got my full attention Lee Minho ! " yelled y/n . Minho didn't waste any time to hug her . " Minho are you okay ?" y/n added looking at his eyes worriedly . " I'm fine don't worry ! " Minho said . 'No'  he was lying , he was not okay .

y/n knew something was off so she held Minho's face with her hands and started rubbing his cheeks softly . " Minho don't pretend you're fine while you're not I actually saw a bruise on your wrist earlier .. Don't tell me he did it again ? " With that she earned a sad  nod from him . 

" You know what ? I'm coming with you today to your house and I don't take a 'no' as an answer." y/n added seriously . " but babe what if he hurts you ... I can't stand that you know ." Minho said while hugging her waist very tight and putting his face on her neck . " Don't worry min i'm strong." y/n answered while showing her smile . " c'mon let's go eat ! I'm hungry ! " y/n added.

"Are you sure you wanna come in ? You really don't have to if you don't want ... " Minho said begging her . "Nope i'm totally fine now push the bell botton ." y/n simply answered  while grabbing into Minho's head tightly which he was stroking it gently . 

" hi sir ." a maid said welcoming . " Hey umm where is my sister Min-ji ?" Minho asked . " she's upstairs ." 

"c'mon y/n let's go ." Minho said grabbing y/n's hand . 

" Min-ji-ah ! I'm here ! " 

" MINHO ! " Min-ji yelled in excitement . " Happy  birthday ! look i've brought you a gift ." Minho said while hugging his sister . " Thank you so much you're the best brother ever !" 

" Minho why you didn't tell me it was her birthday ? I could've brought her something ..." y/n said disappointed . "  It's okay miss it doesn't matter  you must be Minho's girlfreind y/n . He really told me a lot about you and also you're so pretty . " Min-ji said smiling .

" oh really ? well thank you Min-ji you're also pretty .. I actually can give you this bracelet ." y/n said as she took off one of hers to the little girl . " It's one of my favorites but I guess it will look prettier on you . Here you go ." 

" This is so ... pretty... thank you so much ! Minho your girlfriend is so lovely " Min-ji said hugging  y/n tightly . " aww look at my favourite persons hugging . "  Minho's heart melted at the scene but it was soon cut off by his dad speaking with his 'wife' getting closer and closer to the door.

" Hi dear son , I didn't know that we had a guest coming . " ( M/d means Minho's dad )

"She is NOT a guest , she's my girlfriend  and her name is y/n ." Minho answered him annoyed . "hi young lady i'm Minho's mother ..." the 'wife' said and smiled fakely to y/n . " You wish ..." Minho mumbled softly and tightened the grip on y/n's hand . 

" Let's go y/n !" Minho said full of anger . that's when M/d held him by the arm and made him face him . Suddenly , he slapped Minho ... out of nowhere ... " Minho ! are you okay ?! " y/n screamed in shock . " This is MY  house I give you the orders to go or to not , UNDERSTOOD ?!" M/d yelled not caring about y/n's presence . At that point , Min-ji started crying heavily . 

" hey hey Minji-ah it's okay come with me . Minho you too I think we should go .." y/n wishpered softly grabbing Minho's hand . " Go both of you to the car first I'll come later ." Minho answered . "Don't get your hopes high up she'll break up with you sooner or later because you're a pethetic jerk !" M/d said while screaming . " I don't care about your stupid orders anymore , because i'm done thinking about  what you would think about me . To me you aren't nor were a real dad to me and Min-ji because you never cared about us after my mom's death   ... Continue live in peace with your so called 'wife' . " Minho breathed out coldly .
