Falcon trashed the letter. He trashed everything. He felt corrupt, he was corrupt at that point. It's the government, the kingdom, the pressure. It angered him. The corrupt elite who are keeping everyone in a system like little ants. He was sick of it. That night, he just drank his heart out, all of it.
The next day, falcon was greeted with congratulations from others, more letters and being called the village hero. He didn't want to fulfill peoples expectations anymore. That day, falcon was walking around where he heard that the princes was going to go to an auction.
"A bunch of rich shits are probably gonna be there too" thought falcon to himself. He was miserable, but then he thought- what if he changes his destiny? What if he doesn't go through with the scroll? Who said he had to marry the princess? It could just be a storybook.
He doesn't need anybody. He just took another bottle of Booze by the evening and sat on a log beside the area of the auction. He could hear them outside, bidding for useless items like teapots just because they're "ancient artifacts". While falcon sat there, another guy came sitting by, smoking a cigarette. It was short, he seems to be have smoking it for a while now.falcon just put down the booze and looked up watching the sunset meanwhile the guy finished his "first" cigarette. The mysterious man finishes 2 more cigarettes, then stands up to leave. He starts walking away, and accidentally drops his lighter. Falcon notices that and said
"Hey you dropped your lighter"
But the man didn't hear him, he was already far off. So the falcon just decided to keep the lighter. He looked up at the building of the underground auction, then his unfinished bottle of booze. He's done it. He doesn't care anymore, he's going to do whatever pleases him. He's going to scheme all of which is to plan his success. He wants power, he wants control... he wants freedom of his wicked destiny.
