On Maple street, Hawkins Indiana, in a basement there were four boys sitting in the basement around the table playing D&D. These boys we're known as Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair and Will Byers. And the familiar sight of Daniel Bianchi slouched on the floor immersed in his favourite comic book.

Mike had curly hair with a freckled face, Will had hazel eyes and a bowl cut and was the shortest amongst the group, Dustin had a lisp and curly hair, and Daniel was Italian, brown skin and brown eyes.

He flipped the page of his comic book, whilst listening to the conversation, "Something is coming. Something hungry for blood. A shadow grows on the wall behind you, swallowing you into the darkness. It is almost here" Mike spoke in a deep ominous tone that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Daniel peaked over his comic book, silently cursing Mike in Italian in his head, for always been able to get Daniel immersed in a game he hardly even liked.

"What is it?" Will asked eagerly.

"What if it's the Demogorgan?" Dustin questioned anxiously "Oh, Jesus, we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgan"

"It's not the Demogorgan" Lucas shook his head at his friends antics, used to him thinking everything is the Demogorgan.

"An army of Troglodytes charged into the chamber!" Mike spoke, slamming the figure down on the board.

"Troglodytes?" Dustin sniggered slightly.

"Told ya!" Lucas grinned goofily, before Dustin and Will sniggered as Daniel watched with a fond expression on his face.

"Wait a minute" Mike spoke softly, after a few moments of anticipated silence. "Did you hear that?" He said, questioning them "that... that sound?" He questioned rhetorically "boom" he uttered quietly "boom" "boom" "BOOM!" He gradually got louder.

He slams his hands onto the table, everyone else jumps while Daniel drops his comic book in surprise, quickly looking around to make sure no one saw him, he quickly picked it up.

"No... that didn't come from the army of Troglodytes... no that came from something else" Daniel furrowed his eyebrows wondering if Dustin might had been right, Mike pulls his arm out quickly from behind the blinder and slams a figure down on the table "the demogorgan."

All the boys, minus Daniel and Mike, groaned knowing that the Demogorgan is the most unbeatable villain in the whole d&d franchise.

"We're in deep shit" Dustin claims in despair.

"Will! Your action" Mike quickly commanded the Byers boy.

"I don't know" Will cried out, under pressure as he quickly looked towards Daniel wondering if the boy could tell him what move to make next.

Daniel shrugged, Lucas saw that as an opportunity to give his opinion "fireball him!!" He commands.

"No, cast protection" Dustin insists, hoping that Will would rather take his advice than Lucas's.

"I'd have to roll a thirteen or higher" Will spoke, conflicted between Lucas's option or Dustin's.

"Too risky, cast a protection spell" Dustin insists

"Don't be a pussy! Fireball him!" Lucas commanded, hoping that would pressure Will into giving in, so they could win against the demogorgan.

"Cast protection" Dustin spoke, not budging.

"Why don't you guys just let Will decide?" Daniel spoke up, looking at the hazel eyed boy, hoping that it would put him under less pressure.

Mike slammed his hand on the table, making them shift their attention towards him, forgetting they we're still in the game "The demogorgan has had enough of your silly human bickering! It stomps towards you, boom!"
