Everything wrapped up quickly after  dinner. Qadeers went home while Suhail stayed back to talk business with Hameed.

"Sidra, make arrangements in my study," Hameed commanded. Sidra lowered her head and obeyed.

Suhail felt as if something was off about Sidra's behaviour around Hameed. She was perfectly fine during the ring exchange ceremony. She was all smiles and laughter.

However, whenever Hameed came around, she would stiffen up. Her body language changes almost instantly. Hameed also uses rude tone when talking to her. It was kind of a shocking thing.

"Shall we, son." Hameed pulled Suhail out of his thoughts. Suhail nodded and followed Hameed to his study. It was past 10, and Suhail was starting to feel uncomfortable.

"Why don't we discuss this tomorrow at my office, uncle." Suhail suggested as they entered the room.

"Nonsense, son. Why leave today's work for tomorrow?" Hameed chuckled as he offered Suhail a seat.

"Let's get straight to business, shall we?" Hameed stared right into his eyes.

"The investments that you mentioned, by when should I get the association deal ready?" Suhail was taken back.

"The deal isn't ready yet?" Hameed shook his head. Suhail was now on the verge of exploding in anger.

"Mr. Ibrahim, you were so eager to sign this association deal with me, and you haven't prepared the documents yet? Should I be reconsidering my investment with you and your hotels?" Suhail's voice was rather rough than Hameed expected.

"No... I mean...."

"I'll call you when I have made up my mind, now. Fi amanillah, Ibrahim Sahab." Suhail stood up and left the room.

Hameed leaned back in his chair and cursed himself for asking something so stupid. He knew if Suhail took back his decision, not only he'll loose the opportunity to come back top in the hotel business, but he will also have to keep Sidra with him.

The thought of having Sidra not getting married off really made Hameed loose his cool. Hameed got up from his chair in rage and matched towards Sidra's room. He burst open Sidra's bedroom door.

Sidra got up from her widow bed in fear. Her palms started sweating, and her breathing slowed as her heart pounded like crazy.

"Ab... abba?" Sidra stammered as she lowered her gaze.

"You..." Hameed gritted his teeth.

"Ever since you came into this family, you have brought nothing but misfortune!" Staring daggers in her soul, Hameed took steady steps towards Sidra.

"Ab...abba..." Sidra felt her entire body shivering with fear, and she knew what was coming for her.

"I should have thrown you long ago! Even better, strangled you if I had known I would have known that you would cause me so much loss!" Hameed grabbed Sidra by her hair.
