Chapter 5

Jake runs out after Annalise. Annalise starts to cry. Jake says, "it not what it looks like Annalise." Annalise replied, "what does it look like." Jake says, "she kissed me." Annalise replied, "But you kissed back." Jake says, "I don't like Hannah." Annalise shouts, "your a cheater." Jake says, "come on you got to believe me." Kendall comes out and says, "dude you kissed another girl." Jake says, "who are you." Kendall says, "I am the new guy at school the name is Kendall." Jake says, "well go away I am trying to talk to my girlfriend." Kendall says, "You cheated on her." Kendall pulls Annalise away and shouts, "she doesn't want to talk so leave her alone." Kendall leads Annalise away and says, "are you alright." Annalise replied, "yeah thanks for the help."

After Annalise got  home she started to study her test on Monday. Annalise stayed inside all weekend and didn't even let Jake in. Monday came and Annalise walked to school. When she got there Jake was waiting and said, "Annalise." Annalise just walked away leaving him standing there. In class Annalise sat next to Kendall. Kendall says, "how are you feeling today." Annalise replied, "horrible." Kendall says, "I know what it like to be cheated on." Annalise replied, "you do." Kendall replied, "yeah." Annalise asked, "does it get better?" Kendall replied, "yeah it does." Annalise smiled and started to feel better knowing Kendall was there for her. After school Jake found Annalise and says, "Annalise please understand I didn't cheat." Natalie walks over and says, "we have camera and got a good shot at what happened. Natalie shows Annalise and she watched as Jake was being angry at Hannah and how she pulled him in. Annalise says, "wow your really didn't kiss her." Jake says, "I would never do anything to hurt you Annalise" Annalise hugs Jake and says, "I forgive you." Jake smiles and kissed her forehead. 

Kendall sees this and walks over and says, "You jerk." Jake says, "I'm not a jerk." Kendall says, "your pulling Annalise into a trap." Annalise replied, "Kendall stop this." Kendall replied, "I got to protect you Annalise." Annalise says, "you can't." Kendall says, "yes I can." Jake says, "just leave Kendall." Kendall walks away. Annalise says, "he is crazy." Jake says, "why is he after me." Annalise says, "he thinks your a cheater still." Annalise takes a deep breath. Jake replied, "I hope he stop this." Annalise replied, "who really know Jake." Jake sighs. That night Annalise was home and there was a knock on the door. Annalise get up and opens it to see Kendall standing there. Annalise says, "what are you doing here." Kendall replied, "I came to talk." Annalise says, "you called my boyfriend a jerk." Kendall says, "I have my reasons." Annalise replied, "what reason." Kendall says, "I can't say. But you got to trust me about Jake." Annalise replied, "why should I." Kendall says, "it really important you trust me." Annalise says, "I don't." Kendall says, "Jake is not a good guy." Annalise laughs, "I knew him since I was a kid."  Kendall replied, "you don't know him as well as you think."
