She looked at Yuji giving him a gentle smile, mouthing to him "everyone will be okay"

She then looked at Sukuna

"Baby love... What do feel for him"

This question momentarily startled everyone

"I don't get it, auntie"

He said still confused

"I asked what do you feel for him? Do you resent him? Do you dislike him? Do you hate him?"

Yuji heard her out before looking back at the thing that lived in his body for so many months.

He thought about it long and hard, staring at those red pupils full of hate and blood lust, he thought about all the time this person tried to harm his friends, let his friends die in front of his eyes when he could stop it, the times he kept him awake all night just blabbering poison about the world

It all felt nasty. As if looking at this being made his skin crawl

As soon as he said this, everyone snapped their head at them, looking at Yuji with pure disbelief,some even disappointed. Even Sukuna looked like he didn't expect that answer

But what made Yuji the most confused that his aunt began to giggle. She looked happy, as if she'd achieved something precious

Geto started only to stop when she looked at him with a disapproving look

She said and for the first time in years, her voice was cold. Like she was talking to a person she really didn't like

She looked back at Yuji, encouraging him to say something

He gulped and shook his head no

"No, I don't think so. I have never hated someone in my life"

Her smile only Brightened with his words

She gently stroked his head

"I know... Because you're a part of us"

His eyes widened a bit as he tilted his head. He didn't understand what she meant at all

She hummed and looked at Sukuna

"Even though this man took so much from you, treated you so bad, gave you all the reasons in the world for you to hate him, you don't... It only shows how loving you are. How big and forgiving your heart is"

She explained with a smile before taking a deep breath
