There are times when one looks at the moon only to meet the sun
By slowgreyI once wrote this book, it was supposed to be a mystery book about a girl from Peru who moved to the USA after inheriting her father's wealth, which of course she had no idea he had. Although at the time the premise of the book and the raw ideas of including secret mysteries excited me, I can safely and gratefully say I discontinued it. Although I wish I had done so for better reasons than writers block, I can still appreciate that nothing came of it. Don't get me wrong, if I were not the writer, I would have enjoyed reading about it but because I unfortunately was the writer, the book went to waste. Reasons for why I don't regret leaving this particular project unfinished is beacuse I had at the time, 0 to none knowledge about Peru or the USA to be honest.
And I quickly found out that I was not at the time, one of those fact based research and writing kind of authors. The sheer effort of making translations and accurate geographic markers, let alone remembering all my character's names and physical traits, proved more than anything, to be too much to handle. Anyway, I know that starting my story off with mentions of a previously unfinished book, makes you hesitant to continue with this one but trust me on this one ( you will thank me later), or maybe not because I have no idea what I'm on about.
In more recent news, I am excited to inform you that of today the something of the something 2024, I am filled with tons and tons of ideas. Actually that might not be a good thing cause when that happens I tend to lose prospects on current projects and start to think of new, much better ideas that somehow always seem to merge together so please scratch my initial thought.....
Well, I guess since I have no more interesting or hopeful words to type, I will leave you with this ( because mystery is my strong suit). Even though my past was muddied, that doesn't mean a criminal was caught...okey, okey let me try that again... The future may hold more mysteries than the past but the past holds all the secrets that can hinder your future in more ways than one.
