"Adam!" He finally broke. He always breaks whenever I use his real name.
"Fine I'm taking you on a fancy dinner."
"Awwww really?" You don't have to do that!"
"Yes I do! It's our 2 month anniversary."
"I know but still."
"Nonsense Taylor. I'm taking you out and that's that."
"Okay. What restaurant?"
"Just a very special one."
"Hmmmmm. It wouldn't happen to be the True restaurant would it?"
"Maybe. But how would you know?"
"Oh I don't know. Maybe it's just cause I happened to bump into this guy and I spilled my coffee all over him-
"Wasn't it a decaf?"
"Yes it was. So after I helped him clean up his shirt I talked to him and we ended up dating."
"He must be one handsome guy."
"Oh he is." I kissed him. And then he kissed me back. It was like a dream. So perfect. I never knew that the person you think is absolutely perfect for you is actually the reason you can't sleep at night. The reason little things that remind you about him bring horrible memories back. The reason you feel like you can trust no one. The reason I felt used. The reason I felt abandoned and abused. The reason I hated myself and dreaded to look in the mirror. He's The reason I lost myself.
