Chapter 3

"That was a pretty good party!" Calvin said.
"Pretty good? Pretty good? Calvin that was EPIC!" He laughed a cute little laugh. I heard Selena calling my name. I turned to look and saw her and my other friends.
"You go on and go chat. I'm gonna be in the limo."
"Are you sure?"
"Yea I'll be fine."
"Okay." I headed over to the house. Me,Selena,Gigi,Karlie,and Serayah all sat down on the chairs in the outside porch.
"So. What do you girls wanna talk about?" I asked.
"Do you like Calvin?" Selena said upfront. I was a bit taken back by her question.
"Of course I do."
"Oh." Selena said. No one else said anything.
"What do you ask?"
"It's just......." Selena seemed to be trying to think of the right words.
"Its just we don't think that Calvin is very trust worthy." Karlie said filing in Selena's thought. I was really shocked.
"Why would you think that?"
"It's just he has that cryptic look and he just doesn't look very trusting." Gigi said. I couldn't believe the words that my friends were saying.
"I can't believe that you guys don't like Calvin!"
"Hey you didn't like Justin." Selena said.
"But that's different."
"Look Taylor we just don't wanna see you heart broken. We love you too much to watch you get hurt again." Serayah said.
"But you don't need to worry! He's really sweet and nice!"
"Look Taylor.....you remember back when me and Justin were dating and you would always warn me about him? And I got so mad at you cause I thought I was in love with him? Well after we broke up I was so thankful that you warned me and that you were there for me. And we are returning the favour." I stood up.
"Look I appreciate the thought but Calvin is a really nice guy and he could never hurt me." I said walking away. I went into the limo.
"You okay?" Calvin asked.
"I'm fine." I said while the limo started to drive away.
