AN: Welcome back. Hope you like this. I'm sorry for the delay. I have been feeling unmotivated and lazy, and I had summer classes as well. I love you all, and I hope you're doing well.
Y/N POV:
The morning of the day after Halloween, my dad picked me up from school and took me home. When we got home. I got out of the car and immediately got inside and into my room.
After showering, I walked out of my room with fresh clothing. I looked around for my dad, and he wasn't there.
I walked to the kitchen and grabbed myself a snack. I heard footsteps coming from behind me. I turned around and saw that it was my dad.
"I thought you went to work," I told him.
"I was going to, but I just had a feeling that you were avoiding me lately, and I wanted to talk to you."
"There's nothing to talk about. You are dating Georgia, you're close to losing your job because of that old hag, and who knows what else might have happened."
"You don't like it that I'm dating Georgia?"
"I'm glad that you're happy with her. I just don't want you to regret it later in the future. I don't want you to move too fast in the relationship, just to end up sad and brokenhearted."
"I won't feel brokenhearted or sad when I have you here to tell me to take things slow and observe things. I told you would be my number one."
"Okay, then what's that all over your neck?"
"What's on my neck?" Dad asked before going to the bathroom to check and then coming back.
"So?"
"Hickeys."
"You've already done it? But you've only gone on one date, slow and observe things my ass."
"How many dates have you and Marcus gone before you did it? You can't lie to me because I saw those hickeys on your neck."
"Hickeys because he kissed my neck, but we've waited a whole year since I knew I was ready at that time. You have hickeys on your neck that look like you've done it. Did you and Georgia even wear a condom?"
Dad stayed silent.
"You didn't?"
"I feel like I'm being lectured by a kid, who isn't even mine. I should be the one lecturing you...."
I stopped listening after he said his first sentence. I'm guessing he realized what he said when he tried to explain to me, but his words weren't coming to me.
I left the kitchen and walked to my room. I grabbed my luggage and started packing. I wasn't thinking straight. I was just doing whatever to get away from this situation.
After I packed my stuff. I opened my bedroom door. I saw Paul standing in front of the door. I moved to the side to walk past him. I walked to the front door only to be stopped by him blocking the door.
I was just staring at him.
"Where are you going?" He said.
"I'm leaving, since I'm not your kid... Paul." I told him.
I'm guessing saying his name hurt him by his expression.
"I didn't mean it. It was just getting on my nerves on how you were talking to me."
"I know I have no right to talk to you like that, but you two aren't even officially dating, and you already fucked her. If you get with her, did you even think about how it may affect me?"
