the new kids

part 4: the hospital

  *robert drives to the hospital then a while later they all reach the hospital and they help Alex out of the car and help him up to the waiting room and they sit him down on one of the chairs and axel and robert go talk to a receptionist about what happened and receptionist tells them to follow her so they help Alex up and lead him to the room that the receptionist leads them to and a doctor is already there and axel helps you up onto the table and they explain to the doctor what happened and the doctor scans Alex's leg.*

Doctor smith: It appears that his leg is broken. I'll wrap it up in a cast then give you some medicine to take every night before going to sleep that should help ease the pain, the medicine has a few side effects like drowsiness just so you all know. And Alex shouldn't be on his leg much and he'll have to use crutches to get around but he'll need help up or down the stairs and possibly his bed or a sofa or a chair or also even in the shower.

*The doctor wraps Alex's leg up in a cast and gives them the medicine and explains more about its side effects and what Alex would need help doing in his daily life and then he says that Alex is good to go but should avoid playing basketball just until his leg heals.*

*Axel, Ace, Nick, Leo and Robert all help Alex into the car again and Robert drives them back to the school and they help Alex out of the car and they go talk to coach reynolds about what happened then they help Alex up to his dorm and help him onto the couch and they talk for a little bit.*

*late at night before Axel, Nick and Leo leave to go to their own dorms they help Ace help Alex up onto his bed and they also give him the medicine that helps him with the pain and he takes it and instantly falls asleep right away and then they cover him with a blanket.*

Axel: *whispers* Goodnight little brother.

 *Axel, Leo, and Nick then leave and go to their own dorms and to their own rooms and go to sleep and Ace leaves Alex's room and closes the door gently and goes to his own room and goes to sleep.*

*in the morning Axel wakes up first then Nick then Leo than Ace and then Axe, Leo and Nick come back to Ace and Alex's dorm and Alex is still sleeping and then when it's time for them to leave to go to their classes before break and they wake Alex up and Alex feels really drowsy from the medicine and the others notice and they know he might fall asleep in classes so they help him get ready and they help him get to class and they help him to his seat then they sit in the empty seats by him and then in the middle of class he falls asleep and the others take notes for him in class and they explain to the teachers why he is sleeping in class and after classes all end Alex is still drowsy and they all go to their dorms and get their things ready then Axel helps Alex into the car and the others put Axel and Alex's stuff in the car then after Axel gets in the car Robert starts driving to their new house that they share with other people and Alex falls asleep in the car on their way there.*
