"WHEN WILL THIS SUFFERING BE OVER?" a voice yelled from the back of the classroom.
"Calm your ass down Vilaro, there's like 2 hours left in the day" said the voice of a tired class president, clear enough that she was tired of her classmate's bullshit.
Yeah, that guy Alfonso Vilaro was one of the most well-known boys in SLC (Spectrum Learning Center), and the whole school probably knows him for one stupid action he's done whether during class, after class hours, or just anywhere relatively near campus.
Alfonso sat back down in his seat and fiddled with a pen while waiting for the next teacher to arrive. Even if the class president, Maye Gabriel, managed to calm down one of her classmates, there were still about 23 of them she had to put up with. There were just non-stop sounds of chit-chatting from every visible seat, there were boys doing the most questionable things to one another, some as far as voluntary sexual assault and throwing balls around the classroom, and the girls either bully the boys, gossip about other sections, or scream at the top of their lungs. But this all happens when their advisory teacher, Ma'am V, isn't around. She really is oblivious to how unhinged and chaotic her class is, or is she?
Zia's and Camila's classrooms are located on the 4th floor of SLC, and they don't let students take the elevator, so the entire batch of Sophomores have to take the stairs all the way up to the fourth floor. Every section is different, in Zia's section, G-A as the shortcut, is the loudest in the batch as far as anyone knows. While climbing the stairs, both the boys and girls are chattering away and from the top of the staircase, it most likely sounds like chipmunks skittering about. Camila's section, G-C, are mid-tier when it comes to noise level, the entire section was mostly introverted but when they were alone with themselves, it was fairly noisy. Camila's class was third in line to reach the fourth floor, and unlike the other sections who had a full bar of energy and were already making noise and causing trouble at 7 in the morning, G-C had the tendency to sleep and catch their breath as soon as they entered the classroom. The other sections, G-B and G-D are not as much spoken about but are the least problematic. Where they live, 8th grade is already considered high school, so they have to deal with the typical high school problems. Including an unnecessary shit-ton of homework.
Soon enough, Ma'am V opened the door to the air-conditioned classroom and almost immediately, the entire class turned into complete angels as if they weren't just harassing each other 5 seconds ago.
Fair weather is on in SLC, everything seemed like a normal Tuesday afternoon, and it was so far. Now it was lunch, one of the rare times Zia and Camila were able to meet during class hours. Sections G-B, G-C, and G-D were already eating in the canteen and were waiting for G-A to come downstairs. Instead of the whole class coming down complete, there were a few girls that spread out from G-A to different sections carrying some pretty embarrassing news.
"Alfonso's pants ripped during class so he's now wearing a skirt." Zia told Camila as soon as she got downstairs.
Spectrum Learning Center is a private school, so every student has to wear a uniform. Alfonso in this case, had to switch uniforms temporarily.
"WHAT" a few girls from another section exclaimed when they overheard what Zia said.
The G-A boys were all huddled together around Alfonso like some high security bodyguards trying to cover up the fact he was wearing a skirt, but the girls were no help.
Word got around really quickly, so fast that it even reached the teacher's faculty.
The high school's P.E teacher, Sir Rayn, managed to zoom downstairs from the faculty when he got the news and snapped a few photos so he could send pictures to the other teachers.
The bodyguard boys and the main attraction made their way to a part of the canteen where you could buy new uniforms. Everyone went back to their seat and started guessing reasons on why his pants ripped.
The canteen was filled with the non-stop sound of chattering, but one table drew the most attention (no one actually gave a shit, but they were the loudest). It was Camila and Zia's table along with their other friends from Zia's section.
"We don't know how his pants ripped but it was really fucking fun to witness." Said a girl named Rose Raven, she had straight short hair and was sipping from a bottle of soda. You could've sworn she had a cursing disorder because you would hear the words "fuck" every 5 minutes or so.
"Probably because he moves around too much." said Zia.
"Or because he's built like one of those huge bouncing yoga balls." Camila joked.
There were two other girls, but they were quiet, or at least, not as loud as the others. Silena Ohara and Stara Enez. They were actually eating their lunch peacefully like normal human beings.
Rose started laughing at Camila's clapback, and if you weren't looking directly at Rose laughing, you would've thought it was gremlin or a leprechaun that just found another pot of gold.
After the little incident chatter died down, they started talking about normal-ish things again. Or it was normal for them at least. Camila sat beside Stara and those two started giggling like 6-year-olds not even 3 minutes into the conversation. What were they talking about? heck knows. Probably being delusional over their favorite out-of-reach people again. Camila absolutely adored this one K-pop idol, Bhang Christopher Chan, she would go insane at just the mention of him, let alone a picture. And Stara had a severe hyper fixation to Nagito Komaeda from Danganronpa, you'd be seeing his face on almost every social media profile picture she has.
While the rest were talking about their own things with each other, Silena was just the type to listen in and gather information on whatever they were all talking about. Silena was the smart kid that the girls ran too as soon as they needed help in Mathematics. She was kind of the cool older sister of the group, and somehow Rose was the mother.
The noise leveled down a little and Zia turned to Camila.
"Did you bring the science project we worked on? I left it on your desk after you fell asleep."
"What, why do you need it now?" Camila asked while sipping from Rose's soda bottle.
"Because the deadline is today." Zia said, staring Camila dead in the eye.
"Oh that...
I forgot."
