Part one. (Out of two) & (Long)
Mostly spell checked.
Background?"General, I affirmed ships guard landing. We'll arrive in approximately 7 hours at sundown." Sharply spoken, she stood straight — legs sturdy with length apart.
"Excellent, thank you Sargent Y/l/n'." Quaritch the general had brought on a new team. Stronger, smarter, let's just say... they were not incompetent as his last team had been. "Any news on where Sully's next operation is being held?"
"Yes sir." She kept her face straight always. "It's been said he's in the west, on the coast of Awa'atlu." She said with her hands held behind her back. "No intel on what he's planning."
"I see..." He looked at Y/n, pausing his sentence. "I'd like you to take yourself and a few of our avatars," he paced the room, "See if you can fine where he's camping out and bring me what you've found." She nodded, no room to deny his order. "Yes sir, we'll leave first thing—"
"No, you'll go tonight."
No room for fighting, she nodded. "Yes sir." He shook his head. "Good girl, do me a favor Sargent." He licked his dry thin lips. "Why don't you join me for dinner, I have some...things I'd like to discuss with you." He smiled, a devilish grin perhaps.
"Yes sir." She nodded and left to her bunk. She was stressed and not for the night ahead. For the past five years she's been on Pandora she's gotten some attention from her general — the good kind? That's what he'd say. See he likes Y/n, not for her accomplishments, or her strength, nor her leadership or her ability to shoot at a 730 kill distance. He liked her face, the fact that if she wanted to be a model she could — the fact that she had all these qualities but could be so sexy, the perfect woman existed for him.
So when it's time for dinner she'd be with him, alone where no one would see them. She feared him, not for the reasons any other would — he was in love with her on paper and she knew it.
When she got to her bunk her somewhat friend and pilot to her crew was there, reading a book of a sort of smut? Sure, though it's not her for her mouth to oppress. "Hey Danes', how was training?" She sparked a conversation, hopefully forgetting the evening she'd have in just a few short hours. "Oh you know, just getting my ass kicked by the drill Sargent." She laughed, putting her book under her pillow. "Oh not bad then." Said Y/n, amused at her roomie's words. "Oh for sure, think I'll do a happy dance for it." Danes' got up from her bed, shaking her hands in the air. "You amuse me to well, what's dinner look like?" Said Y/n flopping on her bed. "I wouldn't know, bet it's some kind of shit in the shape of meatloaf." Nodding her head, Y/n "hmmed" as an answer.
"Well I'm headed to the labs, see if Savs has anything new for me to play with." Danes' left the courter, leaving Y/n to her sleep.
Waking up, she heard the dinner alarms go off, people gathered together walking in the halls to the dinning hall downstairs. She got up, touched her head feelings a little woozy however she made her way to Quaritch.
"General?" She knocked on the door to his office, steadying herself. "Come in!" He yelled from behind the door.
"Y/n good to see you, now I wanna go over to our base training, I see you've been top of your camp." She beamed, "Yes, I have." She smiled, maybe it wasn't going to be bad. "...well I'd like you to retake the unit."
"What?" She said, smile dropping immediately. "Yes, with me, I'm afraid you don't have the proper training." His evil smile cracked into his lips.
"I see." She huffed, "When will I start?" She asked teeth seething. "We can start now, just the easy stuff anyway." He grinned. "Wouldn't want you to take on to much...or would I?" Licking his teeth, the sharp smile was aggressive.
