A Cliche BL Story

Chapter 2

It was already five years from that meeting with Aaron and Blake. He had a stable job and a great friend. His name was Joseph Mullethead, and had met with Blake through work. Another person he had met through work was Devan Getalife, his doting boyfriend. He was, in Blake's opinion, a marvellous man who had helped him through his dark (and emo) times. He still thought of Aaron nowadays, and thought that he couldn't have been living this life if it weren't for that one encounter with him.
The grandfather clock in the office gonged loudly as the clock struck five. All of the other workers had left already, and Blake started to pack his things so he could get home as well. 'Tap tap'. He heard a light tapping on the doorframe and looked up, and gasping. It was Aaron Loudmouth, the savior of his mental health of when Blake had broken up with his boyfriend. Though he seemed more tired and depressed then when they met five years ago. "Oh! Mr Loudmouth! Oh, do you remember me? From five years ago? I just wanted to thank you and your kind words." Blake bowed deeply and played with his hair as his face started to get red.
Aaron looked at him confused but just accepted that he was a client he had helped during his job.
"Haha, no need for that. I just did what was needed. Anyway, do you know someone called Devan Getalife? He's a request from an old client of mine." He smiled sheepishly.
"Oh yeah. What do they need him for?"
Aaron looked at the piece of paper that he was holding. "Apparently, he's cheating on his wife."
"Wait what?" Blake looked stunned and stared at Aaron. "What?" he asked again.
"Yeah, and the wife wants me to investigate him and all his lovers. She suspects him at least having three because of all the different products and perfume she smells. But they're all men's ones... How strange."
The look on Blake's face was a mixture of disgust, anger, and sadness. Aaron realized this and asked,
"Who is he?"
Blake looked up at him as tears started to drip off his face. "My boyfriend..."
