THERE'S THIS THING ABOUT JULES CHUNG: she's a tryhard and a pacifist. Well, perhaps those two qualities don't go along together, but depending on the situation, she makes it work.
Her case is different than Lynn's. Jules tries, but not just to win at sports and kid games. Jules Chung tries to please people.
Maybe that's how the other two qualities come together as one, Jules tries hard so people don't have to.
Ever since she was young, she knew how much of a burden her misbehavior could be to her family. Her mother spent little time at home, her father had to take care of the house, her grandmother wasn't supposed to raise another child at her age, her aunt and uncle didn't like the fact that Jules' family was also living with grandma, and Yu-jin was annoyed of having to spend time with his younger cousin. And although Jules was little, she had the self-awareness of a twenty year old, and easily picked up on the stuff that others didn't like about her.
