(Y/N) will be in place of Christine, and Kou will be Raoul.

Everyone is in their twenties.

You took a deep breath in. The anticipation was killing you. You exhaled and began to sing euphoric melodies. The crowd watched in awe. Once your performance concluded, you received enough roses to satisfy the queen of hearts.

Walking backstage, you get many accolades from set workers who worked behind the scenes to make everything happen.

Once in your dressing room, you begin to talk to your teacher. The phantom who had been giving you singing lessons. Many people feared him and listened to whatever orders they were given, but you, you were different. You had grown rather fond of the ghost. He was your mentor and friend. Most people knew him as the phantom. However, you knew him as Hanako.

Speak of the devil, there he was. His voice came through the old phone that he used to contact you. "Wonderful performance, (Y/N). I'd say that was your best one yet!" He complimented.

"Thank you, Hanako. I couldn't do it without your expert help!" You smile. "I honestly don't know how I could ever repay you." You admit.

"Don't worry, (N/N). We'll settle it eventually." He states.

You were about to continue conversing with your mentor, but there was a knock at the door. "Oh, let me get that. I'll talk to you later, Hanako. Bye!" You placed the phone back on its stand before he could ever reply.

You ran to answer the door. Opening the ornate door, you are met with a face you hadn't seen in years. Your childhood friend, whom you had been separated from because of your father's work, was standing just inches apart from you.

"Kou?! Is it really you? My best friend?" You ask in shock.

"Yes, it is I, (Y/N) darling. Your performance this evening was simply exquisite." He said, hugging you.

"How did you find me? Especially after you lost my address?" You ask him, beginning to get misty-eyed from tears of joy.

"How could I not recognize your name on the poster? I almost spat my tea out, flabbergasted." He chuckled in the last part. "Anyway, we simply must catch up over dinner some time. Perhaps tomorrow night?" He asks.

"That would be magnificent, Kou!" You were elated to see your friend again.

"I will pick you up tomorrow at seven pm. We can get dinner at your favorite restaurant and take a stroll through the park." He states.

"I can't wait for it!" You give him one finally hug before bidding him adu.

Walking back towards your vanity, the phone rings, signaling that Hanako wanted to speak with you. You picked it up, only to hear a dark voice ask, "(Y/N), who was that?"
