On Easter morn, the sun rises bright A day of hope, a day of light
The tomb is empty, the stone rolls away Christ is risen, hallelujah they say
The cross stood tall, a symbol of love A sacrifice given from up above
Forgiveness and grace, redemption secured Easter brings joy, in every word
Eggs are dyed, baskets are filled Children hunt for them, thrilled
A time for family, a time for feast Easter brings blessings, for both man and beast
So let us rejoice, in the miracle of Easter In the promise of life, in the joy of our Savior For He is risen, He is alive And in Him, we will forever thrive.
