My name is y/n robertson, I'm a sixteen year old girl. I'm roughly 6,7, I weight about 195 pounds, and this is my story.I opened my grey eyes, lifting my arm to protect my eyes from the strong sun peeking in from my window. Nuzzling into my hoodie I turn to the other side grabbing my phone to see the time, groaning when I realized it was only 6:53, I knew my body wouldn't let me fall asleep again so I sat up, my brunette hair cascading down my back.
I stood up taking a moment to really wake up, and walking over to my desk where I usually got ready in the mornings. I sat down and adjusted the small mirror giving a tired smile. I took a clear rubber band from the pile and put my hair into a ponytail, picking up my makeup bag. grabbing my foundation i covered up my eye bags, I took some lipgloss and applied it to my lips. I looked to the left seeing my Butterfly Necklace laying on the table.
I picked it up, remembering when my big sister gave it to me on her death bed five years ago. I put it on, reminiscing about her curly black hair, the way her ocean blue eyes glistened whenever I talked to her, how she always smelled like lavender. I let my ponytail down and stood up walking over to my dresser, choosing a blue long-sleeved shirt with a turtle-neck. I grabbed some brown cargo pants paired with some black sneakers and slipped them on, putting on a pair of rose gold hoop earrings to tie it all together.
I walked over to my bedside table and picked up my phone, seeing it was now 7:32 and realized I would only have 28 minutes to cook and eat before my thirty-minute walk to school.
I leave my room and walk down the stairs, careful not to trip. I made my way to the kitchen, questioning what to make, ultimately choosing the iconic eggs & bacon. I open my fridge and grab a carton of eggs taking some bacon as well. I picked up a pan from the cabinet and placed it on the stove, turning it on medium heat before cracking open a sunny-side-up with the bacon going next to it.
I shook the pan around a bit and moved it some with a spatula to be sure it would be cooked thoroughly. After a few minutes it looked good to eat so I swiftly grabbed a plate from the clean pile of dishes near the sink and switched the food onto it. I turned off the stove and walked over to the dining table placing down the plate turning around again to grab a glass of water. After having have done that I walked back and sat down, enjoying my meal.
About ten minutes later I checked my phone to see it was 7:57 I stood up, placed the dishes in the sink, and walked over to the mud room to get my outer clothes on. I grabbed a thin black jacket since it was only march and let the shoulders hang by my arms, walking out the door, preparing for the trek to my school.
