(The moment me and Vox stepped inside Valentino's Palace, or rather club, that was just the name of it. My senses were absolutely overwhelmed. The scent of smoke and drugs everywhere, along with the blaring, flashing lights pouring down on us both and deafening music through the speakers right in our ears, made me feel woozy before I even had a lick of an alcoholic beverage.)
(I couldn't understand how ANYONE was having a good time here. How could you dance and party under these conditions that were pretty much designed to lower your ability to sense the world around you properly? I could already feel the dread in my gut forming, because of course the club was designed this way, Valen-fucking-tino is the one who owns it. I could only imagine the amount of women he's taken advantage of here and that alone makes me wanna vomit, no tequila required.)
(Despite my unsavory thoughts about the club though, many were laughing and dancing all throughout the club, downing shots like it's the last night of their lives, demons and imps from all walks of Hell, populating the bar and dance floor.)
(Vox, however, doesn't seem to be bothered at all, simply walking through the crowds of the denizens of Hell, heading straight for the back corner where Valentino himself was laid out across the large, purple couch, smoking from his long cigar, huffing that pink shit, whatever it was, I wasn't quite sure, but it certainly wasn't normal.)
*Maybe drugs..?*
(Anyways, he was wearing his usual large red coat with fur coating the inside and pink hearts lining it, along with his rose-tinted, heart sun glasses of his, which under normal circumstances I would find odd, but in this club, you needed sunglasses to see properly. The outfit he wore underneath was covered at the moment.)
"Heyyy, Val, buddy! I'm here, what'd ya need?"
(Vox asks in that 'causal' tone of voice of his as he leans an elbow against my shoulder, grinning widely with a slight hint of nervousness, I found it odd, but I was more focused on the fact that Vox was leaning against me.)
"Oooh~ Dios mío, que belleza tienes contigo.."
(Valentino ecstatically rises from his spot on the couch and sashes his way over to us, pulling me away from Vox with a simple flick of his wrist, his four arms wrapped around me securely, enough to cause me discomfort.)
(Two of Valentino's four appendages rested on my waist, while the other two explored my body, lifting my arms, squishing my face, turning it from left to right, inspecting me, for what, I really didn't wanna know.)
"Okay, Val.. let her go.."
(Vox finally drawls out after a minute or two of this, his expression growing dull, as he huffs out in frustration, a hand sliding tiredly down his face, clearly fed up with Valentino's constant lack of restraint.)
"Oh, boo.. fine~.."
(Valentino sighs with an exaggerated pout before letting his arms fall from where they had been positioned on me, before leaving though, he grins down at me and leans in, whispering in my ear.)
"Come see me later, if you're looking for a good time, chiquita~.."
(With that, Valentino returns to his spot on the couch in the back like before. I turn to face Vox with an unimpressed look and cross my arms over my chest, waiting for him to say something.)
"I don't think it's a good idea to be around Val right now.. let's just go drink by ourselves.."
(Vox grunts out, grabbing me by the shoulder and tugging me along towards the bar. I was shocked, what did he mean, not a good time right now? When was it ever a good time to be around Valentino..? Isn't that the whole reason we came here?? To be around Valentino..??)
