_The soft glow of dawn crept through the curtains, casting gentle shadows across the room. A girl stirred in her bed, the morning sunlight painting her room in hues of gold and warmth. As she slowly opened her eyes, a smile danced across her lips, eager to embrace the possibilities of a new day.
“Good morning, Adhira,” she said to herself and started waking up her sister who was sleeping beside her.
“Kavya, Kavya, please wake up, otherwise you will be late for school,” she said, patting her head.
“Hmm dii, bas 5 min aur,” Kavya mumbled sleepily.
[Yes Di, 5 minutes more.]
“Thik, bas 5 min aur, uske baad jag jana,” said Adhira.
[Ok, but only five minutes. You have to wake up after that.]
She got off the bed and went through her morning routine. After finishing, she returned to Kavya, who was making her bed. Seeing Adhira, Kavya ran to her and hugged her.
“Good morning, my beautiful di,” said Kavya.
Hearing this, a smile spread across Adhira's face. “Good morning, my baby sister,” she said, cupping Kavya's face. “Now go and get ready for school, otherwise you'll get scolded by the teacher.”
Kavya nodded and went about her morning routine. Adhira descended the stairs and greeted her parents.
“Good morning, papa. How did you sleep?” she asked her father.
“Good morning, Sweetheart. I slept well. What about you?” replied Prem.
“I also slept well, dad,” Adhira said happily.
Kavya joined them downstairs and hugged her father. “Very beautiful morning, dad,” she said.
“Morning, my little one,” Prem said, patting her head.
Their conversation was interrupted by their mother's voice. “Breakfast is ready...come quickly,” Sheetal called out.
They all gathered at the dining table, where Sheetal had laid out breakfast. “Wow, mummy, aloo ke parathe, yay...today is going to be fun,” exclaimed Kavya.
“Ha ha, meri bhukhi bahan...Khao Khao,” teased Adhira.
[Yes my foodie sister..have it.]
As they enjoyed their breakfast, Prem's phone rang from an unknown number.
“Hello…! Who's this..?” Prem answered.
“OYEEE PREMIKAAAAA! Kaisa hai tu.!” a voice exclaimed from the call.
[How are you?]
“PREMIKA!” he exclaimed. “AREE! DHANNAAAA TUU., kaisa hai tu, bahut dino baad yaad kiya,” said Prem, and their conversation began.
[DHANNA YOU? How are you? It's been so long.]Meanwhile, Adhira, her mother, and her sister stared at Prem, confused.
“Whose call was it?” Sheetal asked.
“He's my very old and special friend, Dhanraj, who is the manager of Kashyap Industries. He's coming to meet me today, at our house,” explained Prem.
“Oh! Then I will have to do lots of preparation,” said Sheetal.
“You know, Sheetal, I am so excited because I am going to meet him after so long,” Prem said excitedly.
