Adhira's eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Yug. "Kya…! Meri shadi inse?" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with shock.

{What…! I am getting married to him?}

Yug's reaction mirrored hers. "WHAAATTT? Meri shadi inase?" he shouted, equally stunned.

The room fell silent, everyone turning their attention to the two bewildered young people. Adhira's father, Mr. Maheshwari, looked at them with a bemused expression.

Adhira turned to her father, her face contorting in disgust. "Papa, apne to bola tha ki jinse meri shadi hone wali hai wo CEO hai per y-ye to kuch aur hi hai."

{Papa, you said I was going to marry a CEO, but this... He is something else}

Yug, feeling insulted, quickly interjected. "O-o hello miss Adhira, excuse me."

The tension in the room was palpable. Prem, a family friend, tried to diffuse the situation. "Ek min-ek min koi hame btayega ki ye kya ho rha hai… Tum Logo ki baton se lag raha tum dono mil chuke ho ek dusre se."

{Someone please tell us what is happening… from what you guys are saying it seems you two have met each other}

Adhira and Yug exchanged a brief, awkward glance before looking away. The room buzzed with whispered speculations as everyone awaited an explanation. Prem cleared his throat.

Adhira, Yug, let's all sit down and talk this through calmly," he suggested, trying to keep his voice steady. "There seems to be a misunderstanding."

As they all took their seats, Adhira's mind raced. She couldn't believe her father had arranged her marriage to someone like Yug, someone so different from the successful, polished CEO she had imagined.

Yug, on the other hand, was equally perplexed. How had he ended up in this situation? He glanced at Adhira, her disgusted expression making him feel even more out of place.

Prem began to explain, detailing the business connections and the reasons behind the proposed alliance. But Adhira and Yug could barely focus on his words, their thoughts consumed by the shocking turn of events.

As the discussion continued, the tension slowly started to ease, replaced by a cautious curiosity about each other. Would they find a way to understand and accept this unexpected arrangement? Only time would tell.

Ishqi sitting there glanced at Yug and Adhira, who sat awkwardly on the plush sofa their expressions betraying their unease. Gathering her courage, she spoke up, her voice trembling slightly.

"Ji uncle ji, Yug aur Thap- I-I mean, Adhira ji pehle bhi mil chuke hai," Ishqi said, her eyes darting between the two.

Both Yug and Adhira's eyes widened in surprise, their faces mirroring each other's shock. They exchanged a quick, bewildered glance before turning back to the group.

Yug's mother, a graceful woman with a serene smile, clapped her hands together in delight. "Oohh, to tum bacche pehle se mil chuke ho! Ye acha hai, kyunki pehle se mile ho dono, to ek dusre ko thoda bhut hi sahi, per jante hoge na. That's great!" she exclaimed, her tone brimming with happiness.

{Ohh, so you kids have met before! This is good, because since you both have met before, you must know each other a little bit, right?}

Yug shifted uncomfortably in his seat, rubbing the back of his neck, while Adhira bit her lip, her mind racing with memories of their previous encounter.
