(this is both episode 7.1 and help isn't coming)

"you ever feal like you missed your calling cap?" chim says as cap serves us all breakfast 

"what you thinking ? Michelin rated or short order cook "

" i was thinking tv chef i mean what you do is like performance art "

"unlike tv cooking we actually get to eat the food " Sam said as she loaded her plat full 

"ok speed round if you weren't doing this what would you be doing ?"

"fighter pilot . top gun. call sight : shogun " chim said causing everyone to let out a laugh 

"what about you hen?" cap asked 

"editorial cartoonist . the new yorker " hen said causing some strange looks "i have a lot to say "

" you draw ?"

" no it just a dream what about you Sam"

"hmmm i am not sure something to do with animals "

"all right buckaroo if you were not a member of the LAFD what would you be doing?" 

"i don't know i am not getting fired " buck said as Sam let out a faint laugh as she looked up to meat his gaze. his smile just is enchanting she couldn't look away.

"he would be a golden retriever" hen added 

"no a bartender" chim guessed 

"no a bouncer at a bar"  Sam added 

"what is going on with you kid?" cap asked buck 

"just traffic sucks in this town unless you are driving a ten tone of engine with sirens it took me almost tow hours to get from abbeys place to the call centre downtown then back over here" Sam understood why he still lived in her place it was covenant and now with Maddie to it just was better however she would be laying if she didn't say that part of her hated it ."just told Maddie she needed to start ubering" he added 

"how is she settling in?" Sam asked from what she had heard Maddie was amazing practically raised him 

"she is a Buckley practically running the place" at that comment hen and chim decided to leave the kitchen and go sit at the table.

things were all fine we were doing checks on the riggs till the earthquakes began it was at least a 7 reeked the station . the 118 were called to a hotel down town were the hotel was leaning and had  pretty much  collapsed. while on the way there Eddie was frantic on his phone 

"everything ok" buck asked

"yeah no service "

"you trying to reach Chris?" Sam asked 

"yeah"

"wait who is Chris ?" buck asked gathering the whole teams attention now.

"my son"

"whoa you got a kid "

"Christopher he is seven " he said as he showed then a pitcher 

"and super adorable "buck added

"i am all his got his mother is not in the pitcher" to this day Sam could still never under stand why she left she was struggling but how can you just leave your family she loved Shannon like family but when she left something about it felt wrong. it broke her heart to watch Eddie and Chris once she left .

"he's at school?" Buck asked 

"yeah " 

"hey i am sure he is fine " Buck said hoping to reassure him
