"Draw two characters each with your friend then describe the world they live in. Next, exchange drawings with your friend and write their two characters in ."
CA College was a college of the arts that aspiring artists worldwide would aspire to attend, creating painting after painting or song after song, to the point of exhaustion only to receive a letter of rejection informing them they were not good enough. Only the best could enter this prestigious school, and even then, it was difficult to stay in.
Stories are told of a "Ranking System" that was put into place after one of their aspiring actor students graduated, only to be rejected by all the major acting companies. This Ranking System classified students into three different categories.
The first was the Elites. These were the ideal students; the ones who would hand in their work on time, the ones who would get the best grade, the best of the best, those who the teachers of CA College were sure would be the next big stars.
Next were the Averages. These students were good but not good enough to be in the Elite category, yet not failing their classes. These students would fail only one or two assignments and get okay grades. They were respected but not loved by the public.
Finally, we had the Dropouts. These were the failures of the school, the weird kids who had no future in the art biz. These students had the worst grades, with the worst teacher-student relationships and were the most likely to get kicked out of the college. No one could ever respect people like them.
Jake and Bob walked down the shining marble floors of the long, white halls for their first day at CA. Well, Bob was walking, but Jake was skating.
People eyed them as they passed. Some stared at Bob's muscular robot arms and sharp claws, while others snickered at Jake's yellow shirt with a much too big red "J" on the front and his intense, disappointed expression.
These two travelled the corridor, mostly ignoring the looks and giggles of their fellow students. A girl threw a crumpled paper ball at Jake's head, but he swerved, casually avoiding the makeshift weapon, and continued skating. Bob followed closely behind, his oddly wide smile still printed on his face.
Those reactions were the conformation for the students: these two would be in the lowest of the low. They were Dropouts. And everyone at CA College would tell you the same.
"How will Jake and Bob survive this nightmare? Will the tables ever turn? It's your time to write the next part so I'm handing you the pen and letting you turn the page!"
