"Prompt 4: Listen to a song that gives you a certain feeling and write a place or a story based on that feeling."

The pearlescent moon glittered and spread its silver gleam across the flower-filled dale. Its light mirrored off the calm crystal waters of Selene Lake, named after the goddess of the moon. The mere reflected the enchanting glow, creating patterns across its luminescent surface, twinkling like the stars in a coordinated dance.

A lone weeping willow was positioned at the edge of the lukewarm water with its curtain of leaves dangling close to the surface of the lake. It stood like a small mountain, commanding yet peaceful, with a sense of regality and elegance. The teal-coloured leaves intertwined around the fine branches like a million blue butterflies nesting in an intricate pattern. The tree's thin arms lightly brushed the surface of Selene Lake. A few leaves parted from the branches, wafted down to the pool, and settled onto the water, slowly drifting in a peaceful trance under the willow.

A soft wind carried the scent of nature across the valley. The grass and flowers flowed with a swaying motion, and the leaves of the trees surrounding the ethereal meadow rippled along. The weeping willow engaged in the silent dance of nature as its leaves seemed to flutter like the wings of a blue moth. If the wind emitted a sound, it would resonate like a flurry of violins, echoing in a vast, empty room.

Yet this place was immersed in silence, shielded from the greedy hands of humanity, and erased from the history of mankind. The clearing was a sanctuary for resting warriors and a place that inspired legends of the lands of enchantment and luminescence. Although now, such locations only exist in the mind, for human globalisation prevented any place as alluring as the Valley of Selene Lake to ever exist.
