Chapter 1 : Terrible Cooking

Dream POV:

There's a reason why me and Blue take turns cooking and leave Ink out of it. Ink can't cook. As much as I try to avoid the base from burning down, he just doesn't want to admit how bad he is but tends to try and try again. Believe me I try to convince Nightmare to be his "old" self again and I realize now that they are two different personalities sharing the same body. Anyway Ink tried to make us pancakes to surprise us but with the bad smoke that was coming from the kitchen, he really DID surprise us.

"Ink! For the hundredth time you can't cook! Why are you trying to make us breakfast!?" Blue yells from the living room trying to stop the alarm from making such awful noises. "I wanted to be productive!" Ink said as he dumped his poorly made pancake in the trash. After the alarm went off, Blue went into the kitchen to actually start making proper pancakes as I dragged Ink away to the living room.

"You may be our best friend but there are some things we all don't take part in to keep us alive and a great example for you is that you don't cook Ink." I started as he rolled his eyes playfully. "We get it! You're the elder one!" Ink laughs and tries to run off but I hold him back near me. It kinda sucks he's a bit taller than me but what can I do about it? "You want a hug? Why didn't you say so?!' Ink said as he went under my arms and pulled me in a hug which I found quite comfortable if I'm being honest. I rested my head on his chest as he sat us both on the couch and we sat there for the next 16 minutes.

"Hey guys, I made breakfast-!" Blue exclaimed as he walked in but his face turned a bit sour from looking at us. "You know you can't leave the magnificent sans out if it's a huge time! That's pretty rude!" He said as he went behind Ink and cuddled him at the back. Ink and I both let out a laugh at his face though. "We can cuddle for some minutes before eating! How does that sound?" I asked both of them. "Yay!" "More for me!" Blue and Ink said as they closed their eyes and I shut mine too.

Ink POV:

I open my eyes after some minutes and look at my front and back to see the other one's still asleep. I smiled widely as I got off and headed towards the kitchen. Once I headed to the I saw some pancakes on each of our color coded plates. (Which was my idea!)

"If I can't make pancakes, Some fried- eggs won't be that bad!" I quietly said to myself. Before I even went over to bring out the eggs, another hand took mine and I had to face who it was. Dream.

"Ink."

"Damn it"

"We could make it together just please don't do it yourself. I don't want you to get hurt."

"Sure."

I couldn't say no to him. Not only that I'll be stubborn, he seems genuinely concerned. He may be an oldie but sometimes listening to your elder is for the better. So as he was cracking the eggs into the bowl I was putting some seasoning in it. I think the eggs may taste too dry so it's a must. In fifteen minutes we actually finished and I actually got to do some things in the kitchen.

Blue came into the kitchen with a confused look. "You forgot that the magnificent sans can cook! Oh well I'm glad the house is still standing! Let's eat!" He says with a shit-joy grin on his face but I don't blame him. Dream helped me but he let me do some things by myself. We sat down as we ate and it was delicious. I am actually proud of my own cooking! Maybe Dream could help me more of the time from now on but only if Blue isn't around. Otherwise it will be a bit awkward.

"I must say the dish is a 10/10!" Dream starts off as he takes the dishes to the dishwasher and adds the soap while I face Blue to hear his feedback. "It's yummy! I love that you guys added seasoning!" Blue yelled in satisfaction and I grinned as much as I could. I faced Dream as he gave a small yet charming smile. A smile that's very much of himself and I loved it.

"This is just the start guys. I'mma hope I get Chapter 2 out tho"
